Do all the spouses lobby too? Great way to game the system to not pay for travel and do lobby work on the taxpayer dime. Use that lobby money elsewhere. Workaround for extra public funding for particular lobbyists.
If you're a cabinet minister and your spouse is a lobbyist then that's a big no no.

Worked well enough that he's got a majority government and is using said majority to plunder the province for the benefit of him and the wealthy folks, folks, folks he's supported by.

Not shocked about what kenney said. At the moment I think the UCP loses seats in Alberta in the next provincial election to the AB NDP. The UCP has focusing more on stoking divisions and obsessing about the ABNDP then actually governing the province since they came into power.

I think Alberta is a lost cause, it's like the deep red states that will never vote Democrats.
It's like Texas, where the cities are (mostly) fine but everyone else is crap.

It's pretty much true everywhere. Cities are Liberal, rural areas are not although we have NDP pockets here and there.
As for Alberta I don't think they'll win unless UCP splits up.
That plus general disdain of the incumbents was the only reason the NDP won the last time. But basically like the Quebec experiment, it was a protest vote and not a meaningful desire for change.
I think both the 2015 and 2019 provincial elections indicated that Alberta has turned into a two party or maybe multiple party system were the government switches hands more often. Parties have formed government again despite only having one term in power the first time they came to power in other provinces like BC. I don't think it will require a spilt conservative vote for the ABNDP to win again(even though it would help them) because the conservative vote will gradually decrease on it's own over time as the cities continue to become more friendlier to less conservative parties even though the province will always be tilted towards the conservatives a bit.
Also if kenney does not start governing soon voters in Alberta will start questioning if they UCP deserves to form another majority government in four years time. They elected the UCP because they promised more jobs and to fix the Alberta economy. If they don't make any progress on the economy they might struggle in 2023.

This election is bringing the bigots out of woodwork. I saw someone near Yonge wear Make America Great Again hat yesterday and now today saw someone else wearing it again.
I wouldn't blink an eye if they wore make Canada great again. Its just the whole ideology and white supermacy that is linked with US makes me uneasy around these people. They literally have to go out of there way to get those.
