so did anyone order smash bros from amazon and have it ship by canada post, did the tracking number work?
Luckily all my FS orders are finished, but IIRC Bestbuy CS knows how to handle changes like addresses and credit cards for those old orders, you just need to call up.
Seems my Smash showed up today (assuming that's what this package is, haven't opened it as it's a gift for my son... but I don't have anything else scheduled to deliver EDIT: and yes it is Smash). My delivery estimate on Walmart's site was initially Dec. 19. Canada Post tracking had it at Dec. 14 and then it changed to Dec. 19.
It still shows as "in progress," but also shows as being in town, with the note "item processed." Weird. It also shows the date this evening as Dec. 11 (pretty sure it's not Dec. 11 anywhere in Canada yet).

My copy says it's on its way to Mississauga despite:
a) Not living near Mississauga and
b) I already have my copy that I picked up at the local Canada Post I had it shipped to.

Same here, it arrived in my city Sunday morning, but everytime they post a "Delivery may be delayed due to labour disruption" update, the expected delivery date gets pushed back.
Does anyone know if there is any way to pick it up from their sorting facility?
I had that issue with some other items from Amazon as well. Not sure why they're having so much logistic issues. Went from Halton Hills, to Ottawa, back down to Southwest Ontario. Makes TOTAL sense /s
So I'm one of those guys who had to cancel his CC earlier this year cause it was stolen and had Walmart pre-orders. I called a few months ago to rectify it but obviously their system is bonkers. I had Smash pre-ordered but haven't received any notifications, my order still says in progress. Will I still receive it? Has there been a case where someone got their order canceled because they couldn't charge it?
Well the Canada post website tracking and eta is a mess - no surprise - still waiting for smash bros. ETA says December 18th despite pre ordering in June @ the $50 deal. It also appears it arrived in winnipeg this am. I complained to Walmart support yesterday to which they apologized. I followed up asking for a gift card or discount due to the excessive delay and was given a $10 e voucher this am. Just an FYI for any angry gamers still waiting through Walmart:

Yeah. My Spider-Man never got a shipping notice and I got it the day of release. Lots of people are having late orders for Smash. So I'd say it might just be late. I have no cancellation email either while other have gotten them before.

I've had things bouncing around as well, the mail is really back filled pretty bad. Ottawa seems to be the worse spot.

Same, my Smash Bros expected delivery was pushed all the way from the 10th to the 17th, but they updated the tracking to show that it was just delivered to my mailbox, so there's hope for everyone with those long expected delivery dates.
My NES controllers for Switch Online shipped today. Very curious to check them out and see if they are worth the $80 (I'm sure they aren't!)
Thank you!! I didn't see this until about 20 minutes before they closed, so I rushed down and got a few games. I wish I had more time because it did stack with the 20x points, so I not only saved 20% but ended with almost $40 in points. Had I known I would have considered a console or some controllers.
Lucky you. I have three pending orders from Limited Run and all three are delayed months. Cool and quality products, mediocre customer service, and dreadful delivery estimates.

Canada Post workers are unhappy, and are "accidentally" sending parcels to incorrect provinces.
That would be a first since it's shipped by UPS ;)
My SSBU from Canada Post was shipped last Friday and arrived on Monday.
Yeah, I'm confused as well.
So far mine have been pretty bad, Best Buy sent out my Digimon bluray on the 4th and still hasn't made it to me yet and I'm like 3 hours from shipping warehouse.
