Yep.They are available in Canada: $132.99 (so the games are $66.49 each)
The Mario Maker 2 with NSO bundle is $90, so $10 more than just the game, same as the US ($70 - $60 = $10), despite NSO being $5 more here.
So I guess we're getting a (very slightly) better deal out of this.
As for the vouchers I'm still on the fence about it, not 100% sure I'll actually buy two other first party games within the next year?
Fam are you slyly admitting to pirating games? Not gonna go over wellFinally decided to use Homebrew on my switch. Those full priced first party Nintendo games disgust me and just makes me want to throw up. Full price games from WiiU generation... unacceptable.

Looks like it's too late.
I got a pair of vouchers, cuz why not. Pre-ordered Mario Maker, and might save the other one for Zelda, Animal Crossing or Pokemon this fall. I would get Fire Emblem, but I have the LE of that pre-ordered.
Honestly, the choice of games is poor. If I want to benefit from this, I'd buy two Mario Makers since I have two Switches and one is for my boys who are eargerly waiting for this game (and the other one for me to play their stages).
Come to think of this, I think I'll get that then :D

Yeah, the way this works, I don't think that can happen. They don't email you literal vouchers in the form of eShop codes. They're tied to your account, so when you go to purchase an applicable game, you just see an option for "redeem voucher". I don't think you'll be able to purchase a game twice, or gift one of the vouchers. Can you buy 2 copies of the same game from the Nintendo Store?
I just got the bundle for an extra year of NSO with Mario Maker 2. Was considering getting a physical copy but it'll be nice to have this game always ready to play. The voucher deal is vaguely tempting but I don't want to wait until e3 to see if they add Animal Crossing to the list of eligible games. None of the others seem too interesting since Fire Emblem will for sure be a physical purchase in case I end up wanting to re-sell it.
And don't pirate Nintendo games. I know they're expensive but they're generally pretty good value. You can re-sell easily too since they hold value so long.
Even having him on ignore was annoying because when people would quote him the message wouldn't show up so I had no idea what the other poster was replying to.
Digital OnlyWhere did you get it?!!! Is the bundle with NSO a digital only offer?
Who?
TheBeardedOne used to go by OCDChewie on GAF. He denied he was the same poster but that was a lie.
I love it when developers/publishers are willing to poke fun at themselves or a silly situation/mishap. Reminds me of the 'Stage Fright" trophy in Uncharted 4 which was poking fun at the failed start of their E3 demo.
This is so fucking stupid that I can't believe Bethesda made this happen. lol
lucky only getting 3 days. don't pirate, come on cuz. wait for a damn sale. Finally decided to use Homebrew on my switch. Those full priced first party Nintendo games disgust me and just makes me want to throw up. Full price games from WiiU generation... unacceptable.
LMAO THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.

My bad. Thanks for the correction.I finally got around to watching the Direct and it clearly says at the 15:50 mark that the online bundle is both digital and physical release.
I don't see the physical bundle listed yet but the box art is out there.
Yeah, the EB boxart has the year membership to NSO included, not sure if it's an error or not, though.

That'd be nice, but I have my doubts. :/Maybe Nintendo is being nice to us Canadians for once and not charging extra?
-_- lol
In the middle of the night before E3 when most were sleeping. When did Walmart start putting up their $50 preorders and whatnot last year?
Gonna have to do a better job of stalking them this year.
Just like it should be.
