No, super annoying. I went on amazon US, ended up being just over $40.

Apocalypse Now was the same. I'm not sure what the reasoning is, maybe it's a common studio or something. Amazon and Best Buy both got Stand by Me 4K, which is a smaller catalog release than The Shining and Apocalypse Now. Canada isn't usually left out of things like this, really frustrating.
Did you get charged duty?

Any Canadian sites I can order from carrying The Shining 4k?

I checked Best buy, Walmart and Amazon. Amazon had a reseller listing but that's its.

As other posters have said, this is super annoying. This was my most anticipated UHD of this year, and they have made it super awkward to get here in Canada. Gremlins as well. Both are from Warner, and I am hoping that does not become a common trend because the gulf in quality between UHD blu-ray and Digital/Streaming is still too wide. I would love to be able to get the physical copies without paying out the nose for imports.

Lol did movie ticket prices go up over night? Unless I'm seeing things, they went up another dollar or two.

Where I go on Tuesdays, they were 9, now they're 11. Other days went from 14 to 15.

Is the digital copy redeemable in Canada? It wasn't in the Apocalypse Now 4K I bought from Amazon as it was US only and it's a big deal to me. Thankfully it was 10$ on Itunes so I got it anyway but Lionsgate is usually pretty bad with digital version in Canada.

Hey I finally got my Gears 5 copy from Walmart.

Aaaand they charged me full price despite me ordering at 50, and my order still very much saying that price. Customer service didn't believe it and insisted I would be refunded the difference automatically, at some point, if it was indeed the case. I'm now sending a copy of my CC statement to prove they're wrong. And it's not pre-auth either, the transaction moved to approved and my shipping receipt shows the incorrect full price.

Walmart's online system is so broken, it's unbeievable. Borderline unusable, really. I wonder if they're feeling the effects of that.

Anyone else having issues signing into Crave through a TV provider on Firefox? I get sent to the page to put in my credentials but it just rapidly loads another page and sends me back to the same login page with no error message. I can sign in using Edge but even disabling all addons on Firefox and all the privacy features like cookie/tracker/crypto blocking doesn't fix it.

I couldn't use Brave last night, I had the same thing happen. But Chrome worked fine...

I never could with Firefox or Safari. Chrome the only browser that worked.

Edge uses chromium now doesn't it? That's probably why it works :)

What the fuck, there's movies missing from iTunes Canada. Zack and Miri Make a Porno is not there, but it is in the US and UK iTunes.
What the shit, Apple

Damn, it's $14.99 on iTunes in 4K. Gonna grab it before Halloween.

The Crave thing for browsers is a privacy setting; I don't remember the specific one, don't have it anymore.

I was using Firefox before this weirdness. I cleared out my entire cache and that seems to have fixed it? I guess it was a bad cookie or something.

Yea I tried disabling everything, not sure what triggered the problem.

There's a few like that. Apocalypto is the same, it's super frustrating. Definitely a movie studio problem, not an Apple one. Apple wants to be able to sell you things

Does anyone know a good place to get blu rays(not 4k, just regular), especially action movies/more obscure pre-80s movies, besides best buy, amazon, and ebay?

Why is Witcher 3 switch $80? Way too high
Daaamn, isn't the complete edition $20-30 on other platforms?
Because a lot of these switch ports sell really well at $80.
This is why I never get Nintendo platforms. Games are priced high and stay high forever.

Sorry to hear that, I've had so many problems with ordering from Wal-Mart online although never this. And their website is useless.

I'm also interested in knowing this, relocating to Montreal this week :D

Also, any specialty shops in Montreal for games and movies?
I know Sunrise, Volume boutique and the couple retrogame shops in Marche Aux Puce Metropolitain.

Well I'll be damned, it's missing from the Google Play Store, too.
What the fuck man, this pre-historic CRTC horsefuckery keeps fucking consumers.

Anyone know where I can get a good phone clip for my dualshock 4 to clip to my s7 phone?

I'm checking amazon, but all that shit there is either unavailable, or they'll ship it by November.

Does any one know where you can get your hands on the Death Stranding Collector's Edition with the Baby in Canada? Seems like EB is all sold out of their pre-orders.

Canada
Probably give my pro to my sister in law to use. More likely to become a Netflix machine, but eh. Traded my ps4 for it, first time I ever traded in, so not a big deal. X)

Memory Express coming to Canada?
After NCIX closed down, it'd be nice if Canada Computers had some competition.
I think it was always Canadian but this was the first opening in Southern Ontario.

I didn't end up going in-person but I bought some stuff from their online store.

They're super fucking good cause they price match online, and have a really generous return policy
