I can relate, I only got into the X-files because a girl I was into watched it.Still following decades later.

I also remember going to school on monday, and not only getting to brag that I got a fucking dreamcast but also that it got PORNO too.

It'll take some fidangling on my part and a little bit of time, and I'll probably work on it on and off in spare time. I won't forget though, but there probably won't be an immediate resolution. If I'm going through the trouble of routing Era through a PC to get it onto the DC, I might as well and go the extra mile and really try to make it all work.
Besides, at the moment, I'm setting up a dreamcast gdb debugging stub which was my original reason for grabbing the LAN Adapter in the first place, which is what lead to this test.

Maybe the twist is an admin was going in to make a special exception for the Dreamcast, only to screw up and break the whole damn site.

I'm amazed it works. I'm not well-versed on lynx internet compatibility but that seems pretty crazy
Dude I also got a Dreamcast on 9/9/99 for my birthday! (A handful of days before my birthday actually.) that weekend I had a sleepover birthday party with a bunch of friends and we stayed up all night actually playing the Dreamcast lol. No Porno for us ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. But it was an amazing night filled with sonic adventure and hydro thunder.

We played Dreamcast too, of course. Mainly Powerstone and Soul Calibur. But there was definitely a large portion where it was like "check THIS out..."

Soul calibur, sonic adventure, power stone and NFL 2K. The first time we played nfl and saw the instant replays, we were in awe. Same thing when the announcers would update us on injured players. Such amazing memories.

Well hey, kind of funny, but I found out the PlanetWeb browser source code is included in the R10 Sega Dreamcast SDK, and I know someone with a Kitana kit who would have access to the R10 SDK.
This was my early lineup as well, and I can't remember ever being so floored by a console experience. Chills.
