Almost, there's still the insane Nintendo Direct thread from a couple weeks back

Back in the early 2000s when I was in middle school, a friend invited me and another friend over to watch a movie about parkour he had just recorded on VHS.

My dad knew the dreamcast had the internet. I mean, i had to ask him for the isp phone number and password, plus he could see the 50 foot phone line frequently runnig across the house.
Previously, they have been used only to mark site landmarks, like the one millionth post.

I hosted a piracy party a few years later with a bunch of big name ftp operators coming into town. This wasnt at my house, it was at a pc users club i belonged to. We hooked the dc up to a projector via vga and played games like street fighter 3 3rd strike all night long.
And i also had a quake 3 lan party once where we ran out of pcs for guests, so we set up a Dreamcast for an additional player.

Keep in mind, this was 1999. This was before most of my friends had the internet period, yet alone the internet in their bedrooms. And my internet was on a 32" CRT television, way bigger than the computer monitor in your living room. This was a time when going out into the back woods to look for dirty magazines older kids had left behind was legitimately probably the only way you'd see a boob or two at the time.

I had a similar experience when I wanted to play some games geared more towards adults. So I googled "Adult games". The results were informative.
Love this thread. Gives me real nostalgic memories of the Dreamcast. A console way ahead of it's time and IMO Sega's best console.
