Can't access ResetEra from Sega Dreamcast...

I have one for the fat DS. I will need to dig out an older router to set up a WEP connection for it.
Also I won't be back home for about a week and a half, so it'll be a while before I could report on it.
I'm apparently very late to this party, but just wanted to add that upon reading your post I not only instantly remembered my ICQ number from 20 years ago, but also the password and logged into the webclient. Greeted by a ton of names/friends I haven't seen in ages and have no idea what they are up to. :(

Isn't the Clear subscription supposed to help fund improving this site? Dreamcast support should be made a top priority. Or maybe a perk for subscribers, if they want to lure people to subscribe.

Amazing to think that a device from 1998 (initial Japan launch) could, up until a few years ago, still function as a web machine with full mouse + keyboard support.
Also, wasn't there a Chinese guy that did several lossless DC game rips for 900 MB CD-Rs some years back? I remember reading how he completely rewrote the compression algorithm to take advantage of modern (circa 2014) code.

I can obviously appreciate the coding effort, but isn't that basically the same thing (on a far more complex/bigger scale by the way) of what many groups did on certain Amiga games, for example?

The song there by rez is "r0t0fu3l" if I recall correctly. I knew it was used in an intro for an echelon release but hadn't actually seen the intro before. The song isn't that slow when playing the actual .mod file.

The major difference being thay the m68k microprocessor was one of the most publicly used and well documented cpus on the planet, while the sh4 is proprietary and not even well understood today.

Only times i was able to use Netscape Navigator was in the library. Was the (then) best browser to use.

It probably works as http itself hasn't changed, but not really usable. like sites being broken and https not working due to not supported anymore. but for many sites you could plausibly get it output something.
I now remember game consoles were a fun and safe way to see porn as kid, lol.
