Then again the 1.1 mil from the HD edition makes it 3.4.

So Resident Evil 7 is the 10th best selling game they've ever made. I guess it's still a failure animish avatar action fans!

Good for Re7, wish it would have sold a bit more but that's the best you're gonna get after the dumpster fire that was RE6

There are so many RE 4 versions... I expected a little more than 7M, still a great number though.

Didn't realize SF4 sold so well across all versions. With those numbers, its strange that Capcom didn't put more effort/resources into the original version of SF5.

Why RE6 have only 8m when in the other thread it's above 10m? lol

Also, Ace Attorney is quite high for series ranking considering that it's a VN like game.

SFV has been out three years with only the first version being the only one you need to ever buy and has PC crossplay. The CPT tourney and DLC sales and continued support of SFV shows they are far from dissapionted with SFV

SFIV has been out since 2008....10 years ago with multiple versions of the same game. And the 3DS version which sold gangbusters for some reason, a mobile release, PC release, X360 release, PS3, PS4 and a Day 1 arcade release.

may be one of the best games ever made but being a GCN exclusive really "held it back". dunno numbers on the PS2 port but it was sort of an afterthought by the time it came out (relative to how a numbered RE was expected do on playstation)

all in all 7 million is fine but it kind of sputtered to that goal post well after it was a 'new game'

That thread includes the steam version, which Capcom hasn't listed. Honestly, what Capcom chooses to list or not seems completely arbitrary at times. They didn't list RE 5 Gold for the longest time and that sold 2.3 million copies.

It makes me so happy seeing RE5 at the top like that. It was one of the best experiences last gen.

I would love RE8 to find some sort of middle ground between the co-op of RE5 and the atmosphere and gameplay of RE4.

I'm glad to see that Resident Evil 5 has sold very well! I have RE5 on Xbox 360 (physical and digital), PS3 (digital), PS4 (digital), and PC (digital).

Also, Capcom should bring back Sheva. She's awesome.

RE4 should be on top of the RE list. Stands head and shoulders over the rest of the series, and one of the greatest games ever made. Shameful rank.

Worth noting that Resident Evil Revelations 1 will likely get a BIG increase in the next quarter due to it being featured in the upcoming November Humble monthly

Number of subscribers is over 450,000 subscribers according to Humble

3's numbers are only the PS2 versions. It doesn't include the physical PC version, Steam numbers, nor later PS2 SKUs. Steam version is at 250K, so it's at least done 2.5M. That said, I'm pretty sure it's done close to or exceeding 3M total. Before 4 released, total franchise sales were 8M, meaning there are a lot of sales unaccounted for between all three games. Being the 2nd best-selling game in the series despite the terrible PC version and only releasing on two platforms is pretty good.

Capcom broke their own rules again and just added MHW PC to the PS4/XB1 total, lol.

Also not exact but if we subtract new skus from the franchise totals Okami HD Switch likely did around 200k and MHGU in the west did around 600k. Given MHXX Switch already did 300k in Asia it should be around 900k global for the Switch version overall and 2.7m for XX across all platforms.

There's too many skus to try and figure out how the MM collections did (1m among 11 skus!) and that 1m SF total should be mostly the 30thAC but SFV AE catalog likely contributed too.
