I would cry actual tears if this was to be true. I love World but prefer games like MH to be portable. Easier to pick up and put down.
Well the next MH for Switch could easily be a $30 port of the original name. That would be a perfect example of an adult masterpiece.
LOL, literally a cheap HD-port of MH1 (PS2). And Capcom would advertise it like 'Find out about the roots of Monster Hunter!'.
It sounds so bad ... I believe it.

I'd love for this to happen both for the announcement reactions as well as the impressions when people who got into the series with World touch that... thing!
I'd be more than okay with this! I missed DMC3 back in the day, so I've been hoping for a Switch release.
I have a feeling this conference won't have any announcements though. RE5, RE6, DMC1-2 ports.

Jokes aside, that's not entirely true. Dragons Dogma, Resident Evil 5 and 6 are considered part of this Adult Masterpiece collection, which aren't PS2 games.
I hadn't even considered a Switch port of Outbreak. It actually makes a lot of sense. One of the very few RE games that people want that have not been ported. Single player and online functionality. No chat or voice functions. It's perfect for the switch.

Nintendo have been resurrecting dead video game projects for a while now. Why not bring this back?
Think of all the money they saved by reusing stuff for 13 years though.

I'd legit love to see a 2-pack of Monster Hunter G and the first ever Monster Hunter 2G in 1080p on Switch. MHG on Wii had native 16:9 so it'd be an easy transition I'd imagine, and surely a 16:9 MH2G can happen.
I think MHG Wii brought over MH Freedom's content plus added a couple minor features? MH2G can be a definitive release of all the MH2 games included MHFU.
I would just hope that any Monster Hunter on Switch from here on out won't suffer from the legit half-assery that was the HUD in MHGU. Seriously, the HUD has horrific scaling where they didn't properly adjust to a 1080p display (have that very uneven pixelated look to it). It was legit embarrassing, especially when MH3U's HUD was perfectly fine on Wii U which was also 1080p.

So I've never played (or been especially interested in) one of these games. But what's with the loading screens every ten seconds? I know it's an old PS2 title but that surprised me.
Gonna try and stay up for this, but man, flagging a bit.
Honestly, the one title I'd hope to be part of this collection, is Breath of Fire, but I have my doubts.
For the record, as pointed out before (both by me and other posters), this is not strictly "Mature" rated titles. Just titles Adults look back fondly on playing when they were younger.

Seems whatever gets announced will have a short panel right after. I'm not going to get my hopes up and just assume it's DMC3 as for the "Adult Collections Line" that's a title currently missing since 2 is coming.
God, it probably is, though it'd be weird to have a short panel for something like that... Not that Capcom hasn't done weird things before.
