Capcom : Monster Hunter World on Steam exceeded our expectations

This was said by Capcom in the Press Release regarding the Termination of Capcom Vancouver

Regarding Capcom's full-year business forecast, due to factors including the continued robust performance of the PC version of Monster Hunter: World exceeding the company's expectations since its release on the Steam platform in August, following the blockbuster performance of the title after its initial release in January of this year, the forecast for Capcom's consolidated business results remains the same as what was projected at the financial results announcement on May 8, 2018.

Capcom expected to lose 4.5B Yen ( about $40M ) due to the termination , but Commented that due to factors including MHW Steam exceeding expectations , then they won't change the consolidated business forecast for this Fiscal Year

Are they saying MHW on PC made up for an entire branch being closed down and then some 0_o ?

No , They mean that MHW PC and other factors had did great enough to not change the "Financial" forecast for this Fiscal year

Also , I just noticed that a thread was made before mine as is searched on first page when making it and didnt find it , Any mod feel free to merge both
