I was just as surprised to see it lol. I know you can buy it on PSN still.
Can't think of anywhere else so I guess that finally sold just enough to pass that 100K bracket (It was likely very close for ages as they don't update until 100K is hit)

will all prob be for BOF3 then, the best game in the series and a GOAT jrpg (doubt there's many 3DS 1/2 sales)

shame capcpom abandoned the series

I'm really amazed at RE and DMC growth or maybe you could say turnaround last gen.

RE has so much mindshare now for folks who wanna dip their toes into horror games.

I didn't realize Bionic Commando 09 sold that many units. I mean I realize over half of that number are guaranteed to be super discounted copies but still.

Dragon's Dogma hitting 6.8 million is still very impressive for a new IP consisting of a single game (even if split by re-releases several years apart).

I look forward to Dragon's Dogma 2 smashing that number in a matter of months, if Capcom picks a good release window, puts in new features that everyone is excited about, and markets everything correctly.

They only report to two significant digits so It just means it rolled over to the next 100k step, which it could do with 1 copy if the real figure was previously 3299999 copies.
Or almost 200k copies at the other extreme

maybe they could use some of the money from those 700k copies of dmc5 to update the pc version to dmc 5 se

Strider and Bionic Commando going up 200+k has to be because of that humble bundle from June. 200k bundles were sold and those games were in the minimum tier.

Before people get all excited, those big updates are largely from the Capcom Summer bundle. Capcom counts those as individual sales. We've seen the exact same with other Capcom titles after previous Capcom Humble bundles.

BoF 3 is on PSP/PS3/Vita.

BoF1 and 2 are on NSO.

At any rate, Capcom only updates these numbers in 100K and 1M increments. They could have had a single unit sold that made the difference.

I had looked at this a month ago, and it continues to confuse me with this update- why is the Switch version of Resident Evil 4 not represented on this list? With how well games sell on the Switch, i'm stunned it hasn't reached the threshold to be included on this list after almost 3 years.....

What time period do these updates account for? If it's the fiscal year I'm confused what caused DMCV to sell almost another million units in that period of time. Special Edition released almost 2 years ago.

EDIT: Oooh, the recent Humble Bundle as suggested by Sesha? I thought that would be too recent.

The original launch of the title was priced at $30 which might have hurt it reaching 1 Million. With that said, it took them awhile to add the Revelations Collection as well.
