Outside the title, Monster Hunter as a series added another 1 million (Now 64, up from 63)
As well as Iceborne selling an addition 600K (Up from 5.2 Mil.)

It's a japanese title, expect something like PS4 more than half, PC around 25%/30% and XBO around 10%/15%.

Way less.

RE3 had 50% digital share at launch, this at least helped, but the game did less than RE2/RE7.

Maybe they will learn next time.

I'm probably tired, but I don't get it. They're showing 2018/6, 2019/6, 2020/6 in comparison to their forcast for 2021/3. I don't know what the numbers stand for. Can't be month, right? Would be weird to compare 6 month periods to a three month period.

RE3 got its legs shot off likely due to reception. A RE title not passing 3 million in 3 months is pretty bad.

This report is for the first fiscal year quarter (April - June). They are comparing FY 1Q for 18,19 and 20 (ending June ) and giving the full year forecast (April - March 2021)

If anything, COVID would have increased RE3 sales if the rest of the industry is any indication. I imagine the lower sales are due to the less-than-stellar reception and perhaps minor franchise fatigue.

/6 and /3 refer to months of the year and they are using /6 to compare the first quarter year on year.

Capcom's fiscal year ends FY3/21 which is the fiscal year ending March 2021 (the 2021/3 Plan is their forecast for FY3/21).

See below for example, they are talking about the first quarter results and use FY6/20 to refer the balance sheet as (end of) June 2020 since it's the first quarter results and it's being compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

On top of that they delivered a 6 hours sp campaign and a MP no one asked for.

2018/6 means Quarter ending June (6th month in a year) 2018
2019/6 means Quarter ending June 2019
2020/6 means Quarter ending June 2020
2021/3 means Fiscal year ending March 2021

Compared to other major RE titles? Absolutely.

But, they most likely made a lot of money out of it, game seem rushed with a lot of reused assets from RE2 and it's not that long.

They KEEP bringing up Dead Rising in these reports. They're definitely doing something with it.

The context is that the first three columns are comparing the first quarter results of each fiscal year.

The last column says Plan and is referring to their forecast for the whole fiscal year ending 2021/3
