The build-up to the Licker in the demo was fantastic even if we never saw it. Looking pretty good!

Looks excellent. I like the torn skin on the arms and legs. Looks even more like musculature that has burst through a human body.

Having never played RE2 before...I am so ready to dive into this. One of my most anticipated titles for 2019.

That being said, I feel like it's time for me to go on full media blackout for this title. Want to go in knowing as little as possible.

I don't know. Not watched the video yet, but, I don't think the licker looks that great in those screenshots. Maybe I'm just so familiar with the design, but, I was kinda hoping they'd change it a little. Though, it's probably too iconic to change.

Still probably my most hyped game right now, though.

What happened to the days when this place and others used to make fun of Capcom or should that read 'Crapcom' . Capcom has been on fire this gen and with the RE Engine have one of the best (if not the best) Multi-Platform engines out there.
The game looks simply incredible. Now if only Capcom Japan would make Lost Planet 4 using the RE Engine

Watching the game play vid, got a little Revelations 2 vibes off of them. Not a bad thing.

RE Engine is fantastic. Can't wait to play this.

I really hope this game has an easy mode, because the durability of the enemies is really starting to turn me off. It should not deplete your entire ammo stock trying to dispatch one or two.

That engine is crazy. I was literally in awe when she shot that zombie with an acid round and half his face melted off, so gross and amazing at the same time.

Also, did anyone else notice her using knifes and grenades like defensive items from REmake? I'm hoping that's how they work, since I loved those. Also, grenades in general are another 1.5 element that they seem to have brought in that wasn't in the original 2.

Cannot fucking wait. Drooling right now thinking of playing this in my bedroom at night in the dark.

I think this is the last video I'm gonna watch. Too many scare jump scenes are being ruined for me if I keep watching them.

In most of the old school RE games it was often worth to ignore and run by zombies if you had the option instead of using your ammo to kill every single one. I'd have to assume this game is the same, especially after the REmake made ammo conservation an even bigger of the game.

I can deal with the idea of having to conserve ammo.

But as a guy who loved "knife-only" runs in RE2, the idea that the remake even makes that much difficult (if not impossible?) because of knife durability does make me raise an eyebrow.

Something is just off about this game for me. The atmosphere isn't there for me compared to how oppressive RE7's murder house was and this feels lackluster compared to RE2 original. The harder hitting sound effects, the depressing OST, the occasional disadvantageous camera angle---all lead to the atmosphere of the original. Gameplay wise after RE4,5,6, and both Revelation games, there's nothing particularly unique here.

Game looks absolutely incredible. The tension in the morgue was amazing. Capcom is doing wonders with this remake.
