Do we know if they're using Sanwa parts? If it is a full size, 2 player set up, I hope it's not difficult to swap out buttons and joysticks.
It kind of bothers me as well. Why can it be on this machine, but not added to the Capcom Beat-em-up collection released last year. Probably some weird licensing issue, but still. The thought of AVP coming back on only a Plug-in-Play arcade stick after 25 years is bothering the hell out of me.
It's probably impossible with WB Games now and days, but Capcom seems to love to do this to test out the possibility of a new title from a franchise. The thought of AVP coming back on only a Plug-in-Play arcade stick after 25 years is bothering the hell out of me.

did those use sanwa or were the parts in house?
Welp. I stand corrected.

I see. It is the whole Star Fox 2 for the SNES mini all over again to push the product.Because Capcom knows people want a legal way to play AvP/Progear badly enough to shell out $$$ for a mini-console. If the arcade stick just have retreads of already ported games (SF2, Final Fight, etc) no one would give it a second look.

I hope it comes with a replacement back as a pre order bonus after I break mine trying to haul the CRT up stairs!
I can see it just being 5 games. AVP probably cost them an arm and a leg to get. Also the reason why its probably not coming to consoles. They probably had to make some weird deal to get it.
Yeah I am not thrilled about this, but even Capcom isn't that dumb.
a majority of the cost would be the arcade sticks if they are what im thinking they are. I mean arcade cabinets used to be thousands of dollars for 1 game.
u mean capcom vs capcom?
hehehehI hope it comes with a replacement back as a pre order bonus after I break mine trying to haul the CRT up stairs!
that's £200. meaning roughly 250 dollars200 dollars!?!? Capgod is back baby!!!
LOL. Fuck off, Capcom. 200 my ass.

Honestly they should just release all those as DLC for the BEU Bundle. That way they don't encroach on the original release and can just be delisted separately when the licensing period ends. This would be sweet though! AvP, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Dungeons and Dragons. Last completion was missing so many classics.
