We don't know yet, they only showed OST swap for 10-20 seconds, and during that time they only walked up to and used the item box. It did confirm the menu sounds and opening the item box SFX change to the original RE2's (and RE2's main hall theme of course swaps to the original, but sounds slightly remastered), but that's all they showed.
Itsuno's talking about how it's a new feeling for DMC to have to think about controlling V's familiars, who do all the attacking, while protecting V himself, who's very physically weak, but also keeping him in the fight so he can deliver the final blow to enemies. I hope they show some live gameplay because it sounds really cool.

• Nightmare is confirmed to be tied to a Devil Trigger-like gauge for V.
• Nightmare acts independently unless V rides him, then he can be controlled.
• Griffon is technically your double jump as V does not have one by default.
• Shadow is like an emergency dodge (as noted in the Famitsu article).
• It sounds like V will have lower health than Dante and Nero (will check the archive) and can be staggered during combat.

Is Nightmare the giant? I was kind of hoping it would look more like its original incarnation if that's the case.
Yes. You can see it's core where a 'head' is support to be, not to mention it's firing it's beam weapon.
