Vincent Brooks - Age 32

A lackadaisical system engineer. Spends his days working, and his nights drinking.
Vincent's in no hurry to get married; he likes things to remain as they are.

Katherine McBride - Age 32

A fashion designer, and Vincent's friend since grade school; has been his steady girlfriend for years, and his friend for even longer. As of late, her mother is pressuring her to settle down, which leads to her expecting the same of Vincent.

Catherine - Age 22

A young woman who appears at the Stray Sheep bar one evening, and manages to charm her way into a highly inebriated Vincent's bed. Catherine enjoys her free will, and doesn't want to be pinned down. (But if you cheat on her, she'll never forgive you.)

I have yet to play the US version, but by all accounts, it's as bad as the JP version and just like that, unlikely to get fixed.

I'm hosting a tournament in Orlando at the end of the month though, and you're welcome to attend.

It's a huge shame online still doesn't work. Just like the first game, I won't be able to engage in the competitive multiplayer even though it looks so awesome. I wish I had known this pre-release.

It did feel novel that Atlus was out on their own venture to make an active online component for one of their games. I guess this is how it turns out.

Yeah, it has pretty great art.. now If only it was a real steelbook and not a generic metal case.
I think Persona 5 had an actual steelbook, so its a shame they went with a cheaper option this time around. Still looks great with the slipcover at least.

Yeah, I'd rather just go blind. Though, having played Catherine before, I feel like the best way to play is to go down the Rin route so you see whole new stuff and the game expands during your first run. If you're gunning specifically for it, getting to the Rin route is fairly intuitive.

this. i am very disappointed in atlus that they stuck to their guns in this re-release. this was the perfect opportunity to fix it and remove that content, but looks like they've made it even worse. a huge embarrassment for the company.

Well, again, I'm not gonna travel for a single major in a competitive game, unless I'm just looking to casually have fun.

The big issue with non-functional online multiplayer is it significantly prevents the potential for huge growth within the Catherine scene. In this day and age, a game won't grow competitively without online. That's just how it is, since that's the most convenient way for everyone to get games in. Without it, it'll always be on the level of "side game" instead of having a UNIST style explosion, and that's pretty sad.

If it does it won't be for a long time and it would be Sega or some other studio porting it. They just released Catherine Classic on Steam earlier this year. Atlus sure as hell isn't going to put it on PC.

Honestly, if Catherine Classic is an option for you, go with that one instead of Full Body. The addition of a third route didn't add anything to the story and arguably detracts from the Katherine x Catherine dilemma. Gameplay improved considerably, but the story's quality dropped considerably.

Well, if you work extra you get a new last chapter that ends with a new boss. One extra level can be incentive enough ;)

I did not manage to make a level editor for the first one (well in fact i did, but i could not properly go beyond the first stage of 3 depths, it broke the level chain), i bet the new engine will make it easier to achieve... whenever the game comes to pc.

It's a 50 pages booklet with good ink quality. A little small to fit in the box but it has plenty of sketches.
