CD Projekt files trademark application for Cyberpunk 2077 Just In Time For E3

They addressed those quotes a couple of weeks ago. Basically they're not going the Fallout route.
They said Cyberpunk will feature a longer and more extensive marketing campaign since they need to introduce players to the world since its a new IP for them. They also expressed the marketing budget is far greater than The Wircher 3s.
Sounds like it will be very similar to 2014 when they showed of Witcher 3 at the Xbox show. Think it was about 5 minutes of gameplay or so. But 5 minutes is fine, we just want to see it in action. A release date would be super too, but probably not.
Yeah, I just read it. It's all here. With that said, I'm still pretty sure the game will come before Summer 2019.
I am worried I may get arrested for possession of stolen property since I have $60 that belongs to CD Projekt Red in my pocket. I wish they would just take it from me already.
Worst case scenario we will see the gameplay demo some time after the E3. Surely this year, though. Better than nothing :)

You're not wrong, but this is a first person game, so I'm not sure how much the latter will matter.
As far as we know, it's going to be both first and third person.
I wouldn't be surprised if the first look we get of this game is on the Youtube E3 stream. I have them over Microsoft because while The Witcher III was at Microsoft and the Xbox One X is about power, I remember the devs being upset about Poland not being a Tier 1 country or something like that. Also it's coming to PC and most likely next gen and I'm sure they want to show it off in the best environment possible this year.

Bring forth the gameplay at the MS conference on Sunday! Looking forward to it.
They're not having a short ad campaign, but that doesn't mean this game is 18 months out. Could drop in May next year like TW3.

I'm so hyped for this game. I want Cdpr to show us some gameplay. Trailer are good, but I actually want to know what you're going to do in the game foe most of the time. Showing of Nightcity would also be cool.
They will probably partner with various publishers to help in marketing and distribuite the game worldwide.
The Witcher 3 had 5 different publishers (Namco Bandai for Europe West and Australia, 1C Company for Russia, Warner Bros for NA, Spike Chunsoft for Japan and CDPR for Europe East and digital versions)
Self-published in terms of marketing and digital release. Physical editions and distribution will probably be WB and Namco, etc. again. Doesn't have to be though. CDPR have expanded a lot in recent years with offices all around the world.
I will be a sad lad if this is the case.
