I remember someone telling me a law office had gotten something like 1000 applicants. The guy hiring grabbed 1/3 of the stack and threw them in the trash. When he was asked why he'd done it he said; "I don't want to hire someone who's unlucky". People will make any excuse to not read a resume.
You would be suprised at how common this is. My sister in law passes for white, but she's hispanic. She overheard some shit lol.
There are tons of companies with like less than 20 people. That doesn't mean they're some "shit ass" companies.
