I think they did the same with Dante and Leon. I saw a picture that illustrated it pretty well, but this is the best I could find at the moment.Either they're sharing the same base model, or the character artist at Capcom had a very distinctive style.
Total nonsense. One of them has a bandanna.
Oh, right! That's a good one! Don't they have the same Japanese VA too?
See, me and my friends found out about Bloody Roar after DMC, so we thought Xion was a total ripoff of Dante. When Devil May Cry came out, i thought that Dante looked pretty similar to Xion from Bloody Roar 3.
Tbf, Raidou is a more of a copy/inspired by Yasunori Kato from Teito Monogatari/Doomed Megalopolis. The japanese military officer uniform with the cape and the magical powers make it a pretty obvious inspiration.
They are both xeno scum. I don't see the differenceThe Zerg from StarCraft
and the 3rd edition Tyranids from 40K.
Note that the Tyranids did not originally look like this until after StarCraft came out and was hugely successful. Hmm....
Considering both games were one before being split, it makes sense.
My fave of the thread, such a good one.
Saber - the design so nice they used it t̶w̶i̶c̶e approximately one billion times.
Some of these posts are... Idk
Really a comparison of different characters played by the same person???????

Its not that too, just like one of the comparison, comparing Sylens and Martin Hatch, and Norman Reedus from PT/Death Stranding. Like no shit they're gonna look like each other. When they are being played by the same goddamn person.Saber - the design so nice they used it t̶w̶i̶c̶e approximately one billion times.
EDIT:
And yeah, at least 80% of these are clearly different characters, just in the same pose.

made me laugh, only missing goten who literally is a cloneI bet the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ would confuse someone who isn't familiar with the series. Hell, show them the roster of one of the Budokai games lmao
Not a great example, but during certain scenes, you can definitely see that Capcom reuse the same assets/models to some degree.
There's also the similarly between H.B. from Xenoblade X and Akhos from Xenoblade 2. They share the same Japanese voice actor, too.

They completely miss the point of the OP.
Son of a...
I thought the first pic is also Dante from DmC, lol.
Mine is:
Kazuma Kiryu of Yakuza series & Jordi Chin of Watch_Dogs.
Not exactly the same face, but.........
Concerning that Yakuza games already released even before the first Watch_Dogs game, I almost convinced that the developers probably inspired from Kiryu.
*SHRUG*
True, but I want to say those similarities usually happen between different Xeno series instead of different entries in the same Xeno series. Granted Xenoblade 2 has a decent number of the later. The amount of visually similar characters throughout the Xeno series is kind of a feature.
Yup. Dude in my avatar could be a Dragon Ball Z character.
