The much-rumoured return of Christoph Waltz's Blofeld to the James Bond series appears to have been confirmed after the actor was spotted at the studio where the latest film is being shot.

Glad to see scoopsters maintain surprises and have an ethical code:

A visitor to Pinewood Studios tipped off the Daily Mail's entertainment reporter Baz Bamigboye to the sighting, reporting that Waltz urged them not to spread news of his involvement, saying: "You haven't seen me."

Secretly be my brother and stick needles into my brain telling me I won't recognize my girlfriend then I do and it doesn't even matter if old.

I didn't see the last James Bond film but I also haven't been into the series since Casino Royale. Slowly but surely my interest has faded. I used to really enjoy these movies (got into them with Golden Eye). Now I can't muster the effort to even watch the latest installment.

Never saw Spectre. Based on the OP, Blofeld was Bonds brother, and stuck pins in Bond's brain in order to forget his girlfriend? What?

This is easily what ruined Spectre for me. Having Blofeld be Bond's "brother" really pissed me off. Specially the way they made him the the puppetmaster being everything that had happened since Casino Royale(my favorite Bond movie).

And I'm oooouuuut!

Craig movies finish in Skyfall for me then. Very enjoyable run.

Hard to say if this is good or bad, without any clue as to how the character will be written and whether he'll have a prominent role. Maybe he just gets dropped in a chimney in the opening.

It's gonna be pretty lame if it turns out Rami Malek is playing just a henchman to Blofeld. My interest in the movie went down from 100 to 0.

That is indeed what happens lol

He's his long lost stepbro, and then he uses some weird pins to make Bond have prosopagnosia, but they don't work? The movie leaves that unclear.

What I like most about the Craig Bond era is how many people have a different hard-exit point where they were basically done with it. It tickles me. Casino Royale is one of my favorite movies of all time, let alone my favorite Bond. That was the last one I liked.

They better start this movie by dropping Blofeld from a helicopter into a smokestack while in a wheelchair.

For the longtime fans

He sticks pins in Bond's brain for like ten straight minutes. Pokes him right in the part of the brain that governs whether you recognise your girlfriend's face or not. It doesn't work and it's never mentioned again.

I can't remember what happened to him in Spectre.

Expecting to be dropped down a chimney but maybe one falls on him instead.

Maybe they'll do Mission Impossible, breaking out the bad guy.

Man,i didn't know that Christoph was so disliked here.
I friggin love this man,he actually admitted that he didn't like what they did with Blofield in Spectre.
Great actor in a terrible movie imo.

Spectres twist just extended the film to a point it didn't need.

Guess the pins didn't work. Again.
