Martin “just can’t keep the doors open anymore” since his decision, because sales have declined and he can no longer afford the lease on the store.

A sports store that doesn’t sell Nike – it’s kind of like…well, Martin might say it best.

“Being a sports store without Nike is kind of like being a milk store without milk or a gas station without gas,” he said.
Putting yourself out of business to own the libs.

He thought there would be enough people in support of this racist bullshit that they would flock to his store to uphold American values.

You have people like me who only buy Nike and Jordan sports wear. Champion too, to a lesser extent.

But seriously Nike is the biggest brand and you thought your dumbass could cancel them??? Fuck off ya dope.

What’s a racist sports brand? Under armour? New balance lol

Has any Trumper boycott not failed horribly?

Nike sales went up, Starbucks protest was a joke, I can't remember what else they tried.

That's the best thing about this story. The cognitive dissonance of the right on full display. He knew it would ruin him. But he did it anyways. Because "fuck them n-words!" I assume.

Now that you mention it though, making a clearly racist but outwardly "patriotic" sports brand would probably be lucrative. Just pump out the cheapest shit possible and sell it to people stupid enough to watch Hannity and bingo. Like that asshole who sells pillows on Tucker Carlson's show.

Severely disappointed he wasn't wearing a MAGA hat. Would have been nectar for the soul.
