Adventures of Super Sons #1 By Tomasi, Barberi, Thibert (Aug 1st) - The Super Sons are back in an all-new 12-issue miniseries written by Peter J. Tomasi! Check out the lost and secret adventures of Damian Wayne (Robin) and Jon Kent (Superboy) in this flashback miniseries that takes a deep dive into the bombastic bromance between the sons of the DC Universe's greatest heroes. It's an epic dual storyline that transcends current events, as Superboy and Robin find themselves targets of an interstellar team of young badasses called the Gang.

The Sandman Universe #1 By Gaiman, Spurrier, Hopkinson, Howard, Watters, Evely, Stanton, Fowler, Max and Sabastian Fiumara (Aug 8th) - A rift between worlds has opened, revealing a space beyond the Dreaming. Meanwhile, a book from Lucien's library is discovered by a group of children in the waking world where it should not exist. Lucien calls for Matthew the Raven to seek out their master, Daniel, Lord of Dreams. As Matthew flies across the Waking World and others, he finds a young boy named Timothy Hunter who, in his dreams, has become the world's most powerful magician—but in his nightmares he is the world's greatest villain. A new House has appeared in the realm of the Dreaming: the House of Whispers, with its proprietor, a fortune-teller called Erzulie. And elsewhere, Lucifer has fallen again, only this time he might be trapped in a Hell of his own design. Spiraling out of this special issue will be four all-new series set in the Sandman Universe. It all starts here!

Pearl #1 By Bendis, Gaydos (Aug 15th) - She was born into one life, but another is calling to her. When Pearl accidentally meets one of her peers, her doppelgänger from another clan, she starts to dream of a better life. But Pearl has a very special ability that keeps pulling her back into the violent world she is desperate to escape.

Supergirl #21 By Andreyko, Maguire (Aug 8th) - Mourning the loss of the Kryptonians wiped out by Rogol Zaar, Supergirl decides to play detective and sets off into deep space to learn more about the would-be usurper. Using whatever tech she can scrounge, Supergirl builds a star cruiser, and after intel from Green Lantern, she blasts off into the cosmos with Rogol Zaar's deadly axe to solve the mystery—along with a traveling companion you won't believe!

Aquaman #39 By Abnett, Williams, Cifuentes (Aug 15th) - Guest-starring Task Force X, and continuing from SUICIDE SQUAD #45, also on sale this month! After Atlantis rises to the surface once more, Aquaman finds himself outnumbered and outgunned when Amanda Waller sends in the worst of the worst—the Suicide Squad—to send the Lost City straight to Hell in "Sink Atlantis!" part two!

Batwoman #18 By Bennett, Blanco (Aug 15th) - It's the series finale, and there's a lot of drama to resolve for Kate Kane, both in and out of costume. As Batwoman, she teams with Renee Montoya to thwart Clock King's latest time-bending enterprise: selling a drug that allows criminals to know if their crime will be successful—before it's committed. But Batwoman's facing a quandary to boot: Take this drug off the street, or use it herself to stop crime? The only fight tougher is the personal one: Should Kate and Renee give their relationship another chance?

Catwoman #2 By Joelle Jones (Aug 1st) - Gotham's a toxic litter box for Selina Kyle of late, so she hits the road looking to clear the air, change her look and clear her name, too—there's a copycat burglar swiping her M.O. who needs sorting out. In her hometown, Catwoman runs afoul of a crime boss who's also hunting this impostor. Can the two declare a truce to hunt a mutual enemy, or will Selina end up just more roadkill?

Green Arrow #43 By Julie and Shawna Benson, Fernandez (Aug 1st) - Seattle's in for a serious shake-up when Green Arrow crosses quivers with a new vigilante "hero" dubbed the Citizen, who's hell-bent on exposing the corrupt and criminal one-percenters operating in the Emerald City. Green Arrow initially applauds these efforts, until the Citizen turns judge, jury and executioner—can you guess what bloviating billionaire is next on his hit list? Also, a little birdie told us that help for Oliver is on the way—but we're not singing who it is just yet.

Harley Quinn #47 By Hunphries, Timms (Aug 1st) - It's the grand finale of "Harley vs. Apokolips"! Harley's trapped on Darkseid's homeworld, having failed to become a Female Fury under Granny Goodness' tutelage. Trapped in a "reeducation chamber" that threatens to destroy her free will, Harley must dig deep to throw off the alien shackles and get back to Earth. She just needs to escape a super-max alien prison, fight off a planet full of super-powered psychos, defeat a New God, then steal a spaceship and fly it home. No problem-o!

Justice League Dark #2 By Tynion IV, Martinez, Fernandez (Aug 22nd) - Plagued by a rash of otherworldly resurrections, the new JLD team begins scouring the shadowy corners of the DCU looking for leads. Turns out, this latest mystery ties back to the Tree of Wonder, last seen laying down roots in JUSTICE LEAGUE: NO JUSTICE—and it bears poisoned fruit to boot. The Tree serves as a doorway from the Realm of Magic to our world, and the Upside Down Man is just the first of many all-powerful mystic entities looking for a new haunt. It's gonna take a major twist of fate for our heroes to get out of this one…

The Wild Storm By Ellis, Davis Hunt (Aug 15th) - What was Project Thunderbook? What did John Lynch do to the Thunderbook experimental subjects? Why did he shut it down and scatter them across America? Why isn't Thunderbook subject Gloria Spaulding aging? Why do people act like she's an alien? Well...alien is exactly what they made her at Thunderbook.

Nightwing Annual #1 By Percy, Schmidt (Aug 29th) - The smart city overhaul of Blüdhaven was just the beginning—a single battle in a larger cyberwar that Nightwing is only starting to understand. But now the story of the Dark Web organization begins to expand as Grayson travels to Gotham City and partners up with Vicki Vale. We live in an era of fake news, alternative facts, disinformation. The gatekeepers of truth can't be trusted anymore, and sometimes elections, businesses and even lives are at stake. Nightwing faces off against the first of three lieutenants in the army of the Dark Web: Vire, the psychic embodiment of malware who can unearth your darkest secrets.

I read Prism Stalker. It's very good, but not my cup of tea, or at least the whole student angle is not. If you're in the mood for psychedelic sci-fi dream-like story with heavy undertones, maybe check it out. I'll revisit it, because there is a lot to discover, it just felt a bit overwhelming.

What exactly are they going to do with psylocke?

Kwannon is like unquestionably evil. They just gonna throw out the iconic design cause i don't see her being all "Yeah, heroism." Especially after the Red Queen arc.

Seriously though, should someone put an August OT up? Even if it doesn't have anything on the OP

Seriously though, why are so many of you so eager to do all this extra work for the grand total of $0? Is this community full of aspiring graphic designers looking for a big break? You can't make an OP out of just tweets, you know (though that wouldn't stop some of you trying).

So is there some metanarrative that makes that an actual joke or is Messi's humor just terrible?

O5 Beast and Jean are good and having Cyclops step outside the X-Men in response to the actions of his adult self was cool. Their costumes are amazing as well.

Current older Jean is better than all of them. She's basically becoming a world leader.
