Messi, what if people confuse Gillen's "Die" with Kirkman's "Die!Die!Die!"?

Also I may be publishing my creator-owned title "Die? Die?" this month.

I didn't realize how big a month this would be for comics. Two issues of Giant Days in one month is the best Christmas gift, and it comes from my personal Santa, John Allison.

New OT, Same Me. A lot of good books coming from DC and Marvel. Very excited for Orlando's Manhunter, Vendetti's Freedom Fighters, and Ahmed's Miles.

Big guns throwing down that day for sure. That's quite a week.
I'm confident that Taylor's Batman Annual and Tomasi's Detective Comics are going to be the best Batman books that week. I love Jock but The Batman Who Laughs doesn't warrant an ongoing in my opinion.

Ahmed's Spider-Man better be good, but I haven't been impressed with anything from him beyond the first arc of Black Bolt. Fingers crossed.

I'm willing to give Aquaman and Martian Manhunter a shot. The latter moreso because Rossmo is so damn good.

Unless Rodriguez is ghost-writing for Quinn, I'm afraid Goddess Mode is going to be painfully generic with some decent art. The premise sounds dreadful.

I don't know why you would wish Rodriguez was ghost-writing for Quinn when he's not a good writer:/

Just finished the Seven Soldiers of Victory Omnibus. Holy crap. Incredible. Might be my favorite Morrison book now.

Also, JH Williams III confirmed to be GOAT after his final issue in the book, right? He mimicked everybody's style brilliantly. The dude is versatile as can be.

Sudden realisation. Whoever's designing Emma Frost's outfits has shit fashion sense.

Black King deserves better than the recycled trash she's been drawn in recently. Maybe a nice Balmain-esque moment.

Because I tried to read Crash Override out of curiousity and it was an abominable chore.

She's been stunted since Bachalo gave her the black costume in Bendis's run. It's a shame.

So BKatastrophe Slott actually completely changed Arno Stark. His first appearance was in Gillen's run and he was totally different and even a decent guy. That's...out the window now. :/

yeah but I feel like it makes sense, like, it takes the very obvious Warren Ellis inspirations of Gillen's run, and it pushes them so far as to make Arno the full Warren Ellis Protagonist archetype

but also I'm a sucker for that shit

Yeah that's what I thought because I remember watching Comics Explained and he was doing that particular run. Then this happens and I'm like "The fuck?"

Hey Li Kao don't bother with the rest of Brimstone. I tried reading the first volume and couldn't even finish it out of not giving a shit about the story, and I even liked the first issue more than you did.

Hell yeah! Only found out about him when I started reading Morrison but that dude's a master

Yay, new thread.

Another big haul from the library. There were more disappointments than not from the last couple of lots. I have higher hopes for this set.
