I just hate his style. There's too many lines, you don't need so many lines. It looks overly gritty and it turned me off reading american comics for well over 5 years
Is this typical coloring for the series? Because that's the element I'm feeling the least from these pages.He's an indie artist who does Copra, which is essentially his version of the Suicide Squad. Sort of in the vein of Miller or Chaykin. His strength is largely in layout, and I don't feel his art carries the sense of motion and weight that some of my favorites do.

It isn't just crayon coloring, it's like...he didn't have many crayons in the first place, then his sister ate some of them, so he didn't have many to work with.
It's that two-page spread I can't get my head around. All the others, I can understand the limited palette. But on that two-page spread, it looks more unfinished than it looks purposefully limited.
Same thing happens to Togashi with Hunter x Hunter. Speaking of art that could be better, I'm not impressed with a lot of the panels in Demon Slayer, to be honest.
Demon Slayer's art in the manga is way different from the anime. Haikyuu is another example.
Oh really? Thats nuts. Does the app at least have those cool pages where they put in extra work on the shading and detail, or are those only in the actual books too? Like the double page spread in the very first chapter?

Demon Slayer is one of the only things I've seen in many years where the anime may be better than the manga, as much as that pains me to say.
