Very excited for Young Justice next week! It might be the only DC book I even care about atm, other than Far Sector.
I'm already into it, calm down. I'm a few issues behind but I own them all.
...buy it for me?
Reeder only does a mini only year or so
Im hoping #4 will be the issue that makes me come around on the book. I just dont feel like its doing anything special or different, compared to Young Justice. But #4 sounds like its going to be what I was expecting from #1.Legion of Super-Heroes #3 was quite good. I'm reasonably happy with Bendis on this book so far.
Yes I'm not in there!
She was unhappy with the moderation for some time apparently, culminating with the kobe thread
And then there ended up being a thread for talking about Colorado the next day anyways. She was unhappy with the moderation for some time apparently, culminating with the kobe thread

Looked up the solicit for #4, and I might just pick it up. Finally, some focus on the new charactersIm hoping #4 will be the issue that makes me come around on the book. I wish you all the best, gonna post once I have my thoughts sorted out
Obviously the answer is Batman: White Knight.I think something that would be more interesting than whatever "best" of a decade is and figuring out which is most influential. What had the largest impact on the medium's style and direction. Harder to pin down, I'd say but would go in some interesting conversational directions.

I'd agree, but can it count if the comic started in 2003?Walking Dead with that TV deal/success. A clear influence in a lot of new comics' writing cadence and tics.
I think stylistically there's some more going on at a broader level. I think an argument could be made the MCU may have had more impact than any individual comic come to think of it...Walking Dead with that TV deal/success. A clear influence in a lot of new comics' writing cadence and tics.
Don't expect much from etcWe already did one for the year here, so I wanted to test the waters on this one.
If it fails, I'll stay in the community forum from now on.
I'd say Hawkeye. People really downplay how many books wanted to be the next Hawkeye lol.I think something that would be more interesting than whatever "best" of a decade is and figuring out which is most influential. Doesn't manga have it's own thread
what are those? i only know about shonen jumps.
What threads in the OT aren't?
Maybe it's a Seinfeld thing where everyone copied their formula so latecomers won't get what's special about it, but I recently read Hawkguy, and I definitely enjoyed it, but I don't quite get why it's so often listed as a transformative work.I'd say Hawkeye. Generally don't mind the more pedestrian or news story ones.
God damn did they. I feel like it helped encourage a lot of authors to take lesser know characters and try to make comedy books with themI'd say Hawkeye. People really downplay how many books wanted to be the next Hawkeye lol.
Also Hawkguy stuck up to now.God damn did they. I feel like it helped encourage a lot of authors to take lesser know characters and try to make comedy books with them
I mean...the opening salvo was "no manga"
Fucking phenomenal. I'm so many chapters behind. My god it's so good.
Okay, I'll do so.I mean...the opening salvo was "no manga"
We allowed manga in our own yearly. You should allow manga, but the opener in there was already hostile.
