I still have to read Southern Cross as well, before any more single issues come out. I have the first two tpbs, but I keep forgetting to read them. Maybe I'll hit them up tonight after I finish RE7: End of Zoe.

Ended up reading the second volume in one sitting. That's a really strong book, you won't be disappointed. Sometimes I wish Cloonan drew it herself, looking at those covers, but the art team is fantastic in their own right so it's hard to complain.

Congratulations on the new thread, I too like to start off the new year disappointed by my fellow comic readers and their ability to squander ot potential by focusing it all on comics.

Currently hoopling: Batman rebirth vol 1 and birthright vol 5. I had read Batman rebirth 1-3ish before, hope it's not as bad as everyone here agrees it is.

People would bring up squirrel girl as marvel's best book and I could always say "no, you're wrong, gwenpool is"

The squirrelers have won, marvel canceled our only line of defense.

So I blew through the first two Southern Cross trades. Really cool sci-fi / horror / mystery book. Now to find the next issue I bought back when it came out on CMX.

Pls. Messi is the dictator, for sure. He is downright unreasonable. ComicEra Stalin over there.

With or without Boob Window?

I have no problem with her costume but I also wouldn't object to a redesign. I liked Sejics version.

I feel like the Boob Window has become too defining of a characteristic, so I wouldn't be against a redesign. But it has to be something good. That full-body getup she was sporting in World's Finest was not a good design. There's nothing wrong with showing a bit of skin.

Biggest Disappointment: Secret Empire and Sam Wilson Captain America being pointless as fuck
Biggest Regret: Greg Land drawing Star Wars and being a Marvel stan in their worst year this decade.
