In the 4th pic in that first tweet, anyone know who those people are supposed to be by any chance? The top panel that's red with the handprint in the background?
Is it the Hand?

Pretty cool, because I've never owned a manga this size before. I'd have to say the best edition of a manga I've ever had is still Vertical's release of Gundam: The Origin (especially due to that beautiful paper).
I mean I assume so, I just wasn't sure if those were people of importance to Marvel history, or just random people they drew to represent the leadership of the Hand.

how long until we get animation in our comic books?
nah, just half of the series in like a day and a half
oh man, enjoy! both are really great. To be honest I was a little overwhelmed by omni 4 so having a break in between might be goodWill be reading the Hellboy LE 5 after omni 3, but I really am itching to start omni 4 immediately.
As we start receiving our Berserk books, we must ask...
What is the official comic-era reading position for oversized Manga?

I think this is different. I haven't read it, but that book is probably closer to Marvels while this is looking at important events in the Marvel Universe from the Big Bang to the end of universe and I'm guessing it won't be through the eyes of the average person.
at least you didn't drop your title days before the biggest pay per view your company does every year.
I love JL and JLD. JLO, however, has characters I like (Starfire, Cruz), but otherwise hasn't done much for me. Justice League Dark, however, has truly been a pleasant surprise. I've always liked the magic side of DC and this is doing a great job of revitalizing that. Finally totally current with the Justice League series, and... they're all really good. I was upset that Priest's JL was a placeholder, but I can't complain about the results. Is Williamson off JLO? Is Abnett his replacement? Or did they just switch Abnett on because Williamson was pulling double-duty on Batman, with the The Price event?

Because people don't give a shit about the Hell Lords other than two.How has there not been a Hell Lord event?
Like there have been Hell Lord arcs in Marvel but not an event despite the fact that that shit literally writes itself.

Fair enough, but is Dormammu even doing anything these days?Dormammu, Mephisto, Hela, Magik
That's four of seven
I'll give you that most dont give a fuck about any of the rest, but those four alone can pull in so many other characters.
He's in the recent Waid Strange.
I haven't read the most recent issue, but might give it a shot. I think it doesn't help that I really liked the last things I've read with Cruz (Green Lanterns) and Starfire (her solo series from a few years ago). I'm not consciously comparing JLO to those, but it's hard not to think "I've seen better versions of these characters recently" as I read it.If you look back earlier in this thread, or maybe last month's thread, I made a comment that JLO is worthless and we're all worse off for its having been released. I've done a 180 after the last couple issues. They're finally getting to the point, and it's tying in with the Source Wall stuff and I kinda dig it. It's definitely the weakest of the group, but I don't find it insulting anymore!
I stopped reading that after the first issue.
Who cares?
But she is a mutant? I doubt she actually cares about humanity at this point.Who cares?
Audience: Thor why're you here?
Thor: Hela said she'd kick my ass if I didn't come
Audience: Spider-man and Ghost Rider? Man's that's crazy.
Spider-Man: Fucking Mephisto that fucking fuck
Audience: Dormammu?
Strange: Dormammu
And then you got Magik for your default Big Good Hell Lord as she's the only one that's gotten over their "Enslave/Torture/Destroy humanity and enjoy the suffering of the innocents." character tic
Eh... she likes Dr. Strange and the Earth not being a xerox copy of hell would be decent enough motivation since she already has her ownBut she is a mutant? I doubt she actually cares about humanity at this point.

Was very tempted to do that too, but I'm glad I stuck with it after all
They mostly just skirt around it.They should do a mini about Strange teaching Magik. It's a great idea they haven't actually done much with, unless I've missed something.
S7 Buffy was basically getting to that point."Having named Buffy Summers after the X-Men's Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops...."
My mind is officially blown, and I'm mad at myself for never making this connection. It's not even that common a surname!
I could go for a Buffy with a hint of "It's Plan 2. Plan B implies we only have 26."
Also says its two seasons of 12 issues each, with a short break in between.
I know, right! Some of the comments..."that's all?" "It's so short!"
I'm like, uhhh, have you SEEN how detailed his art is? And when is the last time you've read a monthly run that has the same artist for 24 issues in a row? It's very rare.

When it was first announced it was only going to be like 12 issues. So im just glad to get 24 tbh, let along Morrison back at DC. After that, who knows. Maybe we will get something else from him.
Cool, cool. I had no idea what had been said about their plans for their run. When it was first announced it was only going to be like 12 issues. So im just glad to get 24 tbh, let along Morrison back at DC. After that, who knows. Maybe we will get something else from him.
Breh let me tell you about this glorious thing we call Duwang. My friend started Berserk last year, and he was reading scans. They were very poorly translated, and this was a gem I took from a page he showed me.
Comixology always updates well before midnight.Huh, I can check out this week's comics now? It is still not midnight in PST, and yet I can start reading Ironheart #4.
Last I checked it updated at 3am EST...
