For my money, Miller's biggest struggles are when he writes Lana Lang — in particular, a sequence using the threat of sexual assault feels instantly dated and hackneyed in this day and age, and it's a tough sequence to justify especially this early in the gate. (I'll be honest, a lot of Miller's metaphors about love and women in this issue feel like the most discordant notes in an otherwise solid symphony.)

Picking that up from IST this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it.
I read the first trade and I love Bachalo's art and even I felt it wasn't as good as usual.Wolverine & The X-Men #2-#3 was quite good fun. Set the tone for the run, and what looks like the major plot lines and character relationships. This Quire kid seems fun.
Bachalo's art is still a bit eh. I didn't realise that this panel was meant to be the coffee pot phasing through that woman's head. (There's a dialogue about it in the next page which made me go back and look).
Margot Robbie is just the not-Amanda Connor New 52 version.
My Infinity Origins Omni finally arrived from IST. I think it took nearly 10 days before it shipped for whatever reason.
Started it up and it's some 70's-ass comics. Still it's mostly Jim Starlin, so it's easy to read, well drawn(for the time), and kind of interesting backstory on Thanos and Warlock pre-Gauntlet.
I wanted to read through it before Infinity War/Crusade.

I just dropped 30 titles.
I could not keep up with my pull. Comics were piling up. The larger that pile became, the less I read.
I mostly dropped all of the Marvel/DC secondary titles of which Marvel publishes way too many.

That drop list is bigger than some people's pull lists. You may be buying too many comics.
Spider-Gwen is getting relaunched (again) now as just Ghost Spider in August, same creative team as now. But this time she's apparently going to college in the 616. Waiting for the next relaunch where they say fuck it and she's permanently 616.

I think you may be onto something there. The market isn't what it used to be. I don't buy as an investment - just to read and collect stories, but I will eventually want to offload some that I don't want to keep around. I've sold some in garage sales in the past, but I hate selling shit. I've even researched libraries and prisons that take comics donations.
I don't like that.
616 removes the Mary Janes and that's some bullshit.
Who is working on the current Disney Comics and Uncle Scrooge books? Any good stuff in there?

Yeah, somebody is probably gonna notice the four 20 year old versions of Mary Jane, Gwen, Betty and Glory.
Also just hate unnecessary relaunches. Reminds me of when they relaunched Gwen's book the first time, despite that book selling 80k+ on issue 5
Gwen has the ability to move across universes and will be in both universes in the new book.
Romita's art isn't the best but that kid Clark is a new low, holy hell

Gwen's universe jumping is the least interesting part of her powers/story.
Marvel's done a good job killing any interest I ever had in this title.
The latour series had some of my favorite artwork and paneling in a comic book, but man did some of those story arcs suck.
The latets series is better narratively, but a lot less visually dynamic.
I still think the first arc of SG:GS is one of if not her best story thus far. Too bad it's invariably tied to fucking spider-geddon.
