Yea id pretty much rather have Silva on art than Yu. Not that I dont like Yu, I just dont think his art fits as well as Silva's did.
Either way, hope this isnt a sign of what we can expect for the future. Just make the book a monthly release if need be. I dont have the cash to shell out for all these damn X books lol.

baibai, good luck!I'm going to be on a little bit of a hiatus from posting. There isn't any specific return date, but I have some things that need my attention and focus, and I'll be back before too long.
it's honestly kind of ridiculous that they chose yu in the first place. they're clearly investing so much in this series. and they pick yu to relaunch the #1? and ongoing? especially when they have so much talent floating around. gotta wonder if this was a hickman decision that he just blew or something.
Goddamn. I'm okay with this considering I'll probably be down to 3-4 X books a month, but it's still bullshit. Yu has gone waaaay downhill and the art doesn't really fit X-Men anymore. Maybe X-Force, but even that is barely better.
Absolutely. Before they announced people on the Dawn books I was holding out hope that Dautermann was on X-Men or Uncanny.
When is this happening? My dream is Larraz on X-Men followed by Dautermann but Silva is a damn good alternative.
Y'know for all the talk of King getting fired off Batman (which iirc only came from BC) who wants to bet it's actually just so King can give his run the ending that he wants while Tynion can lead into 5G/NuCrisis. Like King and DC can do what they both want without stepping on each other's toes, especially since BatCat will now probably be released alongside that stuff with the delays.

It says it was changed on one issue, 4 I think. Not saying it is for sure Yu, just joking around personally. I mean they have multiple artists on the book going forward.
Mainly because King was wanting to do 100+ issues on the actual mainline Batman book (not a spin off), AND there was a story like a few days before that about how he finally got his ending approved from DC that was a hard sell.
I mean, I do feel like BC was right on this one. I dunno if fired is the right word, but he was clearly moved off the book and given Batman and Catwoman as a replacement.
That's kinda the same thing. King being kicked off Batman so they can go a different direction while he gets to finish up his story in limited series. It's just now we have a better idea of what DC might be doing through them hyping up the next Crisis and other rumors.
Awesome. Yu is in no way bad (even if he still refuses to draw backgrounds) and that's not too long to wait.

The one part of the rumor that was dumb was that some higher up at WB or ATT didnt like King being on the main Batman book, or didnt like the writing/story telling style. But King being on the book was a big factor as to why it was selling so well. Yea Batman sells anyway, but I doubt Tynion or whoever will see the same highs as King has.

i can't speak for other folk but my comment had nothing to do wit hthe delay. i'm always fine with delays. im more just generally critical of the decision to have yu as the main series penciller in general. i'm not a fan of his modern work. i think he's middle of the road at best anymore. and dont take me wrong. middle of the road is A-OK. just not on the best selling comic in the best month for comics in years, if you catch my drift.

I'm clowning Yu because I knew he wouldn't be able to do an ongoing and his art isn't good enough for this book post Silva and Larazz. The dream is Larazz rotating with Dautermann. Damn.
It would be pretty evil to have Larraz go straight from HoX to X-Men lol. He's going to do more X-books though.
I just think its funny that they tried soooooo hard to convince people that it would tie into Rebirth, and it hasn't been touched on since The Button. Shouldbhave just made it a Black Label and called it a day.
So I went to a audiology clinic yesterday to test out my hearing in both of my ears. I had to go before I could see an ENT specialist as it was required so *shrugs*. My audiological eval report came in the mail today and it turns out that I have "mild to severe conductive hearing loss". It's not too bad and it's treatable and there's a chance that my hearing can be fully restored (or at least back to normal levels) so yay for that. On top of that I have an infection behind the ear drum, and I'm in constant pain and I have no antibiotics or ibuprofen to stabilize it. Oh well. Oh and tinnitus sucks.

Forgot to mention that the hearing loss is only in my left ear. It still sucks but thanks, man.
Hey, this actually sounds like an improvement after the last prognosis! So silver lining I guess...
holy shit tinnitus is def the worst. and ear pain. man, i figure you're neck deep in the "this fucking sucks but i guess this is life now so i'll just keep going" phase. so i'll just be your reminder that this is going to get better. maybe not perfectly better. but absolutely better than it is right now. keep on keepin on man.

I think I only have 1 issue left of Fatal Attractions and it's amazing how big of a dick Professor X is. I always knew he was but it's almost like he's going out of his way to have Kitty saying "ok boomer" unironically. He's hugely worthless and when he does pop it's just to tell everyone what they've messed up even if a couple issues before he fried Magneto's brain.
Man, all these Buy 2 Get 1 Free sales at Amazon and Target and I can't find three books of equal value that I need.

Tynion will probably start off well, but he doesn't have a new #1 or the power of a Rebirth/New 52 behind him.

That is a really mean thing to say. Kojima's games actually play well and don't have the awkward sex scenes with people that all look like they're wearing dentures.
seriously if this had been done under anyone other than Feige I might have hope for the Moon Knight show to go for it in the way his best comics go for it, but this is a creator who already has a track record of successfully turning big time comics into the usual premium online television streamable puzzlebox #content, working under the producer that turned Marvel boring
