Somewhere.
I honestly didn't care so much about the far FAR future story outside of the one thing that came out of it today heh, but still, onward to the Dawn of X. I certainly enjoyed House of X far more through.

Any impressions on Batman's Grave?

i dont think so. just the paperbacks and hardcovers -- metal, road to metal, dark nights rising. there will be a collection eventually, but who knows when. nothing announced, tho.

hmm guess I'll just get those three paperbacks then. I just want to read The Batman Who Laughs but seems like a good idea to read Metal first.

I was hoping for some Captain Britain cosplay out of NYCC, but I didn't see any.
Yea I was expecting to see some too! She's going to be a big hit when her book finally comes out I bet. LOVE that design.

I did see a great commission someone did of her though. Need to try and find it again.

Yea it wasn't explicitly stated like I thought it would be after reading them lol. But after reading the actual issue it was implied.

Nah, that's the hook of the series. Moira went through all those timelines is that no matter what happens, they always lose. The puzzle is how to avoid that. How to create a scenario in which...they finally win. It's a cool way to lead in to the next arc.

Oh for sure. I wonder how much Moira will be involved going forward. Are they just going to keep her hidden in that area for as long as possible?

Nice! There's another I saw, but this is so much better!

So the new Buffy (and Angel) series is great, but you pretty much have to have watched the show before reading. For example, there are characters that get no introduction or backstory that are super important, like Anya.

Also still pissed the artist on Buffy left for another book after the first arc lol.

I see Hickman's X-Men as basically being the MU recognizing the impossible question of the future of mutants, and the characters in his story trying their damn hardest to answer it. Of course with the caveat that this being cape comics, ultimately the answer will *never* come, which makes me wonder how long this status quo will remain satisfying. But I'm interested in seeing where it leads, at least for a while.

Pretty much what I thought of.

Gwenpool finally got good in #3, but this just makes me wonder if we really needed issues 1 and 2.

I think we didn't.

I don't really care who dominates in the future or not, that question in the long run is irrelevant as far as my interests go. As long as Krakoa remains in any form, I will be statisfied with the new status quo

As soon as Hickman is done someone is gonna go "what we need is to go back to basics" and then we'll be back to SCOTT and JEEEEAAAANN.

I've liked every issue of this so far.

And I get that people say the original run is something truly special, and on a much higher level than anything going on here, and I believe everyone who's said that, but I like what's going on in this book on its own merit. I like Leah's sense of humor, and it's fun for me to see what kinds of lewd shit her editors will let her say.

Now this looks much more like a Snyder book compared to previous advertisements.

They were fun, but they seemed pretty pointless, and not much happened in each issue, and the first issue especially irked me about Gwen's characterization. Issue 3's gwen is much closer to her "normal" character, more enjoyable, and the plot moves forward quite a bit, and i just enjoyed it much more than the previous two

No comic Messi promotes can possibly be good.
Unnatural was a good book. And there was some softcore furry porn in it too.
omg, this might be the greatest mashup since Puzzle Quest.

Looks cool. What platforms?
I couldn't wait to change my avatar. When Joelle gives you gold like that, you take it.
I like it.
God, I can't wait until they do a statue of her.
Statue of who?

I'll be honest, the Gurihiru artwork adds A LOT.
Does this involve topless acolytes?
It better.

Somewhere.
Was looking around for some more Batman's Grave impressions, and I stumbled upon a post about Superman Smashes The Klan, in turn finally giving a good look at this book.

I think I might finally check out a Superman book, cause this looks so fucking good, plus I feel like it has been long overdue to support Gene Luen Yang again.

Anyone play AI: The Somnium Files? Don't play too many VNs, but I really want to check this one out. Was gunna get it if Wal-Mart has it, since all their new games are $50, but doesn't look like they carry in store anywhere close.

Worth getting for $60 or wait and pray for a sale?

What's Brain Braddock up to?
He's gunna be in Excalibur. At least the first issue.
