By the time everyone realized that Zdarsky was amazing with those characters I'm sure that Slott and Spencer had already been chosen to write those respective books. I'd hope he'd be next line if he wants once those two move on to something else. In which case I'm sure he has a better chance of getting ASM lol

Bloodborne vol 1 was okay but I don't think it added that much to the bloodborne experience. I need to replay that game but remember it took me 30ish tries and lots of swearing to beat the second boss alone.

Next up: giving Lazarus another try. I remember dropping it monthly because the book was super depressing and bleak but now that Trump is president whatevs.

Is Daredevil really the place people want Zdarsky? I mean swashbuckling Daredevil is great, but we just had a run like that right before Soule. Ill be there day one to check it out either way.

I mean I don't see him on Moon Knight since we just had Bemis. The other obvious ones are Ant-Man, a new team up book and Daredevil.

Yeah but that book already has gotten everything pushed back a month and I think it's getting a new artist soon.

He said on Twitter that he has 3 unannounced projects with Marvel coming up.

Oh yeah I'm definitely pulling whatever he puts out. Just sorta answering your question. I really wish he was taking over FF, I've much preferred 2-in-1 to Slott's first two issues. ASM I've really liked Spencer's stuff so far, right now I'd say he's easily on his way to writing the funniest Spidey run of all time. But I do want Zdarsky to get a shot.

Ve'nam so far is not important they're just fun background stuff for the main book

However they only mean anything if you read the Venom book which is better anyway

I could totally see that being 1 of the 3 unannounced books for sure. If they hadnt already announced the new GotG creative team, I would have said that was his book. Im sure NYCC will answer most of these questions.

NYCC is shaping up to be bigger than SDCC lol.

Lazarus reads much better in trade so far than I remember singles, aboot five issues in, still in the reread phase until issue 7.

The new Spider-Gwen writer Seanan(who's also doing the Mystique Black one-shot) is getting something announced at NYCC that's not an ongoing.

Seems NYCC will be packed on the Marvel side

I wasn't a fan. The atmosphere was great, but the gameplay itself was not spectacular. It played like a budget title.

In the most recent Comics Conspiracy podcast, they were talking about a 2 or 3 issue Superman story by John Byrne that focuses on Mister Miracle. In it apparently one of Darkseid's goons drugs Big Barda and forces her to make a sex tape with some random, then proceeds to make Mister Mircale watch lol!? Wtf. Then they drug Superman and he and Barda almost make a second sex tape!?

How have I never heard of this before lol.

Has King referenced it at all in his book?

My main problem with it was the length, it just kept going and had like 2 moments that could've been endings before the actual ending. Doesn't help that in the latter half you're only revisiting areas and nothing gets added to the gameplay. I loved that game, played on hard and it was a terrifying experience, but it was a prime example of padding out your story.
