PSA: The Touryst is a disappointing and lazy port which doesn't support high freshrate, does not offer in game options to cap framerate, and its game speed is tied to framerate, so if you are using a high refresh rate monitor you will have to set your primary monitor to 60Hz to play the game properly, and since it's UWP you wont be able to cap the framerate to 60 with RTSS.
AMD drivers doesn't even find the game, and you can't add it manually, because, you know, WindowApps.PSA: The Touryst is a disappointing and lazy port which doesn't support high freshrate, does not offer in game options to cap framerate, and its game speed is tied to framerate, so if you are using a high refresh rate monitor you will have to set your primary monitor to 60Hz to play the game properly, and since it's UWP you wont be able to cap the framerate to 60 with RTSS.
That's very disappointing. This worked for me.Aww :( was looking forward to trying it at beyond 60fps, not much can be done if game logic is tied to frame rate alas
If you're on a GTX/RTX card, it may be worth trying the fps limiter on the NVidia Control panel, you can set that per game. Hopefully works with UWP titles
You CAN cap it with RTSS like for other UWP games... both using the Global profile or by add the game as a separate profile by holding CTRL before pressing the "Add" button so RTSS can see all the .exe in execution and you can add it from there (just discovered this trick on Reddit, super cool).PSA: The Touryst is a disappointing and lazy port which doesn't support high freshrate, does not offer in game options to cap framerate, and its game speed is tied to framerate, so if you are using a high refresh rate monitor you will have to set your primary monitor to 60Hz to play the game properly, and since it's UWP you wont be able to cap the framerate to 60 with RTSS.

As I'm only hearing good things from The Touryst, I'm checking that out now.
Add this to the long list of games I wouldn't have even thought about trying without Game Pass being a thing.
quite a lotAre there lots of puzzles in The Touryst? I hate puzzles so hopefully not.
It's pretty much a puzzle game. Are there lots of puzzles in The Touryst? I hate puzzles so hopefully not.
