Times New Viking? Alice Coltrane?

Most of the list is pretty safe in terms of well-regarded albums, but you get points for two non-traditional picks.

Besides, I'd bet most of us here have relatively safe answers for perfect albums. Except Koozek who'd post "Perfect Timing", "NAV", and "Bad Habits."
even tho that's like the most well known AC album? idk i love Austin but that is the most greatest hits NPR ass list i've ever seen. This Years Model? Doolittle? seriously?

Perfect albums

Deftones - White Pony
Daft Punk - Discovery
Converge - Jane Doe
Streetlight Manifesto - Everything Goes Numb
Brand New (Yes I know) - The Devil and God and Raging inside me
Outkast - Aquemini
Viktor Vaughn - Vaudeville Villains
Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary
Refused - The Shape of punk to come

I had a real hardcore punk phase.

I've been listening to Vaudeville VIllains a lot recently and it's become one of my favorite Doom albums.

Perfect rap albums:

A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders
The Hermit and the Recluse - Orpheus vs. The Sirens
Slum Village - Fan-Tas-Tic Vol. 2

There are obviously more but these ones come to mind quicker.

Shocking. This new Ross album is hot garbage. Dude is so washed. Don’t know why people keep giving him a chance.

White Pony and Aquemini are also perfect albums, good calls Whippy. i think i like You Fail Me more than Jane Doe though

God Aquemini is good though. that 'Outkast vs Tribe' topic was actually pretty tough but Aquemini really sealed it for me

I love stankonia too, but for some reason I always think of it more as a singles album where everything is a banger rather than an album album like aquemini.

Also gotta add Elliott Smith - either/or for the sad Bois hours.

Can’t think of any perfect hip hop albums right off the bat although Illmatic is the easy answer here.

Born to Run might be the most perfect album I’ve ever heard though

Liquid Swords, Yeezus, MBDTF, illmatic, Stankonia, The Money Store, Mm... Food + Madvillain

But also Heaven or Las Vegas, Souvlaki, Homogenic etc. Not even getting in to the 80s and below here.

Best album of all time though? Pet Sounds. You know it to be true.

TPAB
Ten
Wish You Were Here
Madvillainy
Toxicity
MBDTF
Kalk Samen Kuri no Hana
Donuts
ATLiens
Led Zeppelin IV

I could probably find something wrong with them all, but they're as close as it gets. I need some time to sit on Igor and Hounds of Love (Just listened to this last month), but I could see both of thise reaching that tier

MBDTF and Be are the first things that came to mind.

MBDTF is more debatable than Be is TBH, I can't even fathom what a complaint for that album would be (no pun intended).
