I'm in the middle of a Cold Steel replay on PC, and gave it a try running it at 144 fps as I have a monitor and PC that finally support it, and the game can't handle it.
I knew Durante said that certain things might not work properly at higher framerates (I mostly just knew about a certain train sequence not working as intended), but while the problems are just on ocassion, they have proved to be severe, to the point where cutscenes can get completely out of sync, and in one case (Ellise and Alfin introduction) it got to the point that the sequence couldn't continue as the high framerate borched the cutscene triggers.
However, more concerning, I have experienced two OS crashes while playing Cold Steel this time. This never had happened me before with the game (regular crashes, once or twice, but not a OS crash), and while the crashes could have been caused by other unrelated issues, no other game, or any other sort of activity, caused such crashes before.
Anyway, lesson learned, I'll keep my Cold Steel experience at 60fps.
