Today is the 66th birthday of the guy that made me love videogames.
One of the most precious memories I have is when I got Super Mario Bros 3 as Christmas gift. My family was passing through a huge financial problem back at that time but my father found a way to give me the gift I wanted and I remember playing it with him through the holidays all night long. He never liked videogames that much, but in a way I think he was just enjoying living all the sh** he was passing through behind, even if it was just for those couple of days.
Until this day i think as videogames as a way to bring people together, maybe that's why I'm a huge Nintendo and Miyamoto fanboy. I guess they see videogames the same way.
