Oh dayumn!! That's crazy.
Yeah, I poured points into the skill that boosts throwing damage and it makes most encounters a breeze. You can take most dudes out in one throw, even late-game.
I've done that side mission but haven't done the named main mission so that must be it, thanks! This door is unlocked either during a certain story mission. Or it unlocks during a janitor side missionFinnish Tango. What a mess even more mold (second mold quest)
if you mean this update, that's been out on all platforms for a while!
The map is useful for cardinal directions only. So "OK, I need to go roughly North from here" rather than "two blocks down and third door on the right." It doesn't show elevation changes, so every single level is just overlaid at the same time.Alright so is the map confusing, or do I just not know how to look at it? Say I'm in Research and I'm trying to follow the map to go somewhere, sometimes I just hit a wall because I'm assuming the map doesn't really show you different levels. It'll look like I'm right next to the room I want to go to, but I can't.
Finish all of the side missions, find all of the secret areas, unlock every single upgrade, take some photos with the new photo mode, buy the season pass :)So I beat it, now what? I feel like there's a ton of additional content that I'm missing. I mean I think I even saw a level 9 door but I don't know where to start looking.
Technically she's Seven :)Midway in the game where I meet that hissing blob, can I rename Jesse Eleven?
You can't buy the season pass on Xbox?
About 2/5 through the main story. It's not very long if you stick to main missions only.I'm at the research bit! Loving the game so far. Wish they hadn't spoiled flying in trailers etc, since its the last skill on the tree.
Anyways...roughly how far in am I? Meeting Marshall.

These pauses were random? or you triggered them? Either way, that is a glitch. Was this big fight in Communication sector still?Does the game have sanity effects like Eternal Darkness? Or just crazy ass glitches?
I'm still early in the game, but I love the throw ability so I upgraded that to it's most powerful right away. I was in this mental fight with loads of baddies throwing shit around and explosions going off, there were NPCs helping me in the fight too..
..but during the fight the game kept pausing and the pause screen was Jesse standing in a room from a bit earlier in the game, not the same one where the fight was going down. I'd un-pause it and continue the fight only for it to happen two more times during the fight with the same pause screen. It was freaky as hell.
Crazy ass glitch or cool ass sanity effect?
Playing on PS4 Pro.

I never pressed the pause button, the game would just do it by itself. It's a shame the game buckles so hard, it's so amazing in all other aspects. These pauses were random? or you triggered them? Either way, that is a glitch. Was this big fight in Communication sector still?
Finished the main campaign last night and boy am Ithoroughly disappointed with the ending.
I have a few of the side missions left to do, is there any point in terms of narrative? Or is it just more stuff to check off?
Absolutely, I'm just completely uninterested in chasing any more of it down having seen how it (doesn't) end. Really disappointed.Same here. However there are always documents to find and read and that's the most interesting part of the game.

It sucks.Guess they patched the mold boss glitch huh? No way i'm beating that thing then, utterly annoying boss fight

What was there to patch? I did after beating the game and only took 3 or 4 tries to beat him primarily with the shotgun.
But the fridge boss took me a lot of tries to get that done (and the flamingo to a small degree).
If you're struggling then leave it until you've progressed a bit further in the game - it's a side mission after all.Guess they patched the mold boss glitch huh? No way i'm beating that thing then, utterly annoying boss fight
Does Control run OK now on PS4 Pro? I dont mind some fps drops, but i do mind the massive slow down i have seen in some vids.
It's optional, you can come back to it later. But if you are already at end-game, there is a cheese strat where you can stay on the rightside of the first platform and still hit it with a clock. Otherwise, it has a set pattern and the adds are predictable, so you can take your time and setup each clock toss.

With patch1.04 out, is this game worth picking up on a base ps4? I have seen some videos that make it seem like this game is a nightmare to play on a regular ps4
