Copyright for Xenoblade Chronicles X extended to 2018...port/sequel to be announced?

Curiously, the copyright for Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Japanese website has been extended to 2018. The copyright year for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is still at 2017. What does this mean? I have checked a few older Wii U games, but they appear to have the same copyrighted year.

It's automated based on the time of your computer. If you set your time to 2017, it'll display 2017 on the page.

The site just grabs the current year for you based on PC time.

It seems like the date was simply auto-generated by the user's clock. As such, there's no real reason to have this thread open.
