All academic until we've had our bat, though, things could easily still go horribly wrong...
...but that's not the British way!Or we could knock out these runs in 30-35 overs and easily win, lets be optimistic!
Actually, I meant "optimism about sporting events" :-)
Arrogant Aussies? the Poms literally changed their eligibility rules for Archer. thats how much they want to win the trophy.Hope England wins, it would be good to wipe the smile off fellow Australian's faces with the sandpaper scandal and the team being super arrogant over the last 12 years :)

As an Aussie i hope the kiwis win the final. dont care who they beat
I disagree entirely. Gonna be a cakewalk
Let's hope so. Need to blast a quick 30 runs.

There is no way on earth this will be a cakewalk. This is England. And Australia.
If England win it will be 9 down with a run off the last ball....and that's a big IF.
Gonna be fun to watch if Starc can get the ball hooping around.

Keep watching to learn any sport.I finally found a stream.
I've read through the "rules" of cricket quite a few times, but I'm still so lost watching it..lol.
There's more going on that any sport I watch, lol. (and I watch darn near every sport in existence) I've yet to grasp the scoring....which seems important..haha.
I enjoy any competitive match though, so I'm going to keep this up on one monitor at work.

Homerun ? Come on no one uses that term with cricket !Reaching one base from another = 1 run.
Homerun = 6 runs
Ball crossing homerun boundary but along the ground = 4 runs.
