A creative agency called Territory Studio that worked on the motion title card for Cyberpunk accidentally may have given a release window for Cyberpunk 2077.

Their site was shortly updated and the date had been removed. With CD Projekt Red confirming the appearance of the game at E3 this year, it is possible that they may be nearing completion and Q4 2019 may be their targeted release window.

Nah. I highly doubt this agency is getting legitimate release information.

I believe that that may have been the plan at some point but I highly doubt that remains the case. Either way, I look forward to it.

One: There's no reason why this agency would be told anything about a release window at all.

Two: The fact that it was removed should tell you that it's most likely incorrect, not the opposite.

Didn't they just start full production like in 2016 or so? For a game of that scale I'd think at least a minimum of 4 years is necessary.

Been saying that holiday 2019. Playable mainline from start to finish since last August and they have to have 2 AAA games out by 2021.

Zero chance of a release this year. At this point there ought to be bookies in Vegas that have odds of video game release dates that you can bet on.

This is the game I''ll be building a new desktop PC for, so it doesn't matter if it releases tomorrow; I won't be touching it until I can play it on hardware that can appreciate its ambition.

It could go either way, it really depends on what details CDPR had told this agency about. It's extremely likely though that the person updating the site there wasn't fully aware of the whole project and just worked in some verbiage.

CDPR still stands by the release of "Cyberpunk 2077 and a new AAA game by 2021" as outlined in its 2016 plan.

If they do manage 2019, that means they have about 2 years for that other AAA game. It doesn't seem feasible, but who knows what they're capable of. If the demo slice we saw is anything representative of the final product, I'd say they might be blasting through production at a solid rate. I mean i definitely want them to take their time with it and perfect it, but a holiday 2019 release window isn't that far fetched of a thought.

That would be impressive if they got it out this year. Either way, we should be finding out in a few months.

Judging by the work they did for Horizon Zero Dawn it looks like they are involved in very early prototyping and concept stuff so I doubt any info they have on Cyberpunk 2077 is up to date.

There is absolutely no fucking way. Even if they do annonce a 2019 release date, it WILL get delayed.

If anything, they likely 'announce' a 2019 release, but then slip into a spring 2020 at the earliest, IMO - more likely summer 2020.

I'd be happy to be wrong and have a fall/Winter (much more likely the latter) 2019 release, tho!

This is cross gen right so I'm guessing the (comparatively speaking) garbage version will be 2019 and the enhanced version will be at launch for the new consoles in 2020
