Good summation, should be added to the OP StygrCyberpunk Info from GameSpot Stream:
- Game is FPS perspective
- FPS perspective made to feel more personal
- RPG with Shooter Elements not a Shooter with RPG elements
- Multiple different progression systems (Skills, Perks, etc.)
- V, protagonist - urban merc/hired gun.
- Full character creation system (Gender, Looks, Lifepath/Backstory)
- You DO NOT pick classes in the beginning, class system is fluid based on choices
- Dystopian Cyberpunk future shown in sunlight on purpose. Full Day/Night Cycle. Noir themes bleed through environment and aesthetic
- Characters from Cyberpunk 2020 lore will appear
- Netrunner Techie and Solo are main focused classes
- You can combine classes
- Optional classes exist (like Rockerboy and Corporate) and you can pull perks from them to add into your own custom class
- Story and quest system from Witcher 3 is implemented into Cyberpunk similarly.
- Choice and consequence is HUGE. Emphasized that the game is an RPG first and foremost
- Story is personalized by player choice.
- Combat - Ranged combat and Melee combat. Learned lessons from Witcher 3. FPS Melee combat.
- Weapons - 3 branches - Power Weapons (heavy hitting/stagger), Tech Weapons (penetrating through cover), Smart Weapons (tracking/following)
- Vehicles - Motorcycles, Cars, hinted at flying cars.
- V is a fully voiced character. Both Male and Female completely voiced.
- V's personality is shaped by player. Backstory and interactions shape V's personality.
- Cyberpunk is a dark dystopia in the same vein as Witcher 3 being Dark Fantasy
- Details of the world - everything has a purpose. World design was a huge focus in setting the tone.
- Night City - in between SF and LA (fictional city). Inspired by both cities.
- 6 unique districts in the city. Each area has its own feel on top of the base Noir feel
- Exploration is encouraged.
- Witcher was horizontally huge, Cyberpunk is vertically huge.
- You can enter buildings, Mega Buildings exist as well with multiple floors and multiple areas to explore within a single building.
- No level scaling. 2 forms of XP - Core XP - Main Missions and Street Cred - Side missions
- Higher Street Cred opens new exclusive vendors and fixers (new jobs)
Well, CDPR can give us a toggle option then. Let us deal with it like we do in TES and Fallout. :)You can but game-play was not made with that in mind and plays worse...most people play them in FPP.
Thank you for compiling this.Cyberpunk Info from GameSpot Stream:

Probably janky and uncontrollable right now. If they showed it to the public we'd all rip apart the framerate or whatever. If they show it to the press they can NDA them from talking about technical things that will likely be fixed anyway. They can reset things when stuff happens, etc.
Honest here... how many players do you think skip COD or BF or other shooters because they dont offer 3rd person? Do you think 3rd person preference is greater than 1st?This.
I wonder how many potential buyers they are going to lose without third person perspective.
That's completely subjective. I played through the entire game in TP, and although they could've done more to fix the camera movement, it was a lot more enjoyable experience for me. The important thing is that they give you options. You can but game-play was not made with that in mind and plays worse...most people play them in FPP.
Fuck I wish we could see the demo
ls.
This could possibly lead to them Patching it in. Their next project will have optional viw settings.
I mean yeah, I have a pc and that'll probably be the first thing I do, but not everyone has a high end pc for this game to be able to use the mod lol.

Pretty sure you can change perspectives in Fallout and Skyrim.
Not more than they are going to gain my being a well designed FP gameThis.
I wonder how many potential buyers they are going to lose without third person perspective.
ExactlyYou make it sound like it's the difference between SSAO-on and SSAO-off. Camera perspective between TPS and FPS is huge. It completely changes how combat works. Just compare Skyrim to something like Dark Souls. Totally different combat. Hell, compare Skyrim to Witcher. They fundamentally cannot have the same or similar combat systems.
Now, this ignoring the fact that some people like me physically cannot play FPS because it makes us wanna puke, but that's besides the point ('cuz it doesn't affect you, and you don't care that I can't play FPS anyway).

Who is saying they would be lesser games? Motion sickness is a thing for people. And also, if TPV did not serve a purpose in those games, why was it included?Seriously, people being frustrated due to the first person camera,I'm sad for you really.
I mean if Skyrim or Fallout had a first person only view, would they be lesser rpgs than they already are? Some people need to grow up really
Absurd.
Wow a special type of stupid. Don't be sending me anymore PM's until you develope reading comprehension.

Maybe the genre has a bit more of a difference? I don't get this using shooters in comparison to rpgs when speaking of camera perspective. Maybe it is just me tho.Honest here... how many players do you think skip COD or BF or other shooters because they dont offer 3rd person? Do you think 3rd person preference is greater than 1st?
They better have a Ciri easter egg in there! :D

Agreed. Show and then tell! Do it for the public and not just the press or people at E3!Absurd.
They're basically talking points to use in their articles. How about you show us so we can judge for ourselves. Lol!
Okay, hype officially gone now. Why would they do it? I wanted a real open world game where I can go wherever I want from the beginning.
So disappointing.
