I don't have a degree in American law, but like any lawyer would tell you, I know the basics. Like we've been talking here and on the other thread, Avenatti was doing a good job of keeping it close to his chest until this blew up. And once he did, he went off the rails. Just see his twitter feed and what he is hinting as "most powerful proof" to understand what I mean. I just find it amusing because any social media savvy person would tell you that that video even with time stamps one day after he went to jail, still could have been posted 24 hours or more prior.
Financially? He'll probably be fine. His dreams to run for presidency are pretty much dead tho.Lets assume he is guilty, this seems like a first offense, what could be the worse he will face?
3.1. Penal Code 273.5, corporal injury to a spouse or inhabitant
Penal Code 273.5 makes it illegal to inflict a "corporal injury" that results in even a slight physical injury to an intimate partner.
PC 273.5 is a felony. Possible penalties for a first offense range from one (1) year in county jail to up to four (4) years in California state prison.
I agree on that. Trumpoid guy is a cunt and the FBI should get on his ass, but just like TMZ might have ears in the LAPD, someone like Trumpoid senior which is also a lawyer could have access to information on who the lady is via the criminal record.Little bit suspect how people who have just tried to frame the guy who is heading up collusion investigation who completely fucked it up had prior knowledge of the womans situation literally as Avenatti was arrested and not long after he implied he was going to run in 2020.
He overheard it being whispered by ultra-liberals in a hipster coffee shop.
Just because it was posted when it was doesn't mean the actual pictures were taken at that time. Also, makeup. I had a woman come to the police department with her husband to report their dog missing. She looked completely fine, physically. Not a scratch could be seen. When she handed me a note that had her dog info on it, she mouthed "help me". After we got everything sorted, she wiped away her makeup and her face was all bruised up. She had her sister come at night and take their dog so she could convince her husband that had been beating her that she needed to report the dog missing. She seems awfully happy and bruise - free in those pics, I must say. Wohls gloating making this very suspect..
If Avenatti is guilty of abuse, then he deserves punishment.
However, nonsense like this:
Is suspect as fuck.
2). Wohl has no credibility.
3). Avenatti has very, very slightly more credibility than the aforementioned, but is also severely lacking in that department.
Not saying I don't believe you, but I've never heard of reporting a missing dog to the police.Just because it was posted when it was doesn't mean the actual pictures were taken at that time. Also, makeup. I had a woman come to the police department with her husband to report their dog missing. She looked completely fine, physically. Not a scratch could be seen. Pictures and smiles sometimes don't tell the whole story.
The gap in credibility between them is vast, not slight. What has Avenetti done in the past that even remotely compares to the scam Wohl tried to pull with the Mueller, let alone everything else in his past?
Not to say I trust Avenetti in this. If I was guilty and wanted to push a cover, I'd absolutely run with with it being manufactured by Wohl.
. . .
In the NBC News interview that aired on Oct. 1, Swetnick back-tracked on or contradicted parts of her sworn statement where she alleged she witnessed then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh "cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could then be 'gang raped' in a side room or bedroom by a 'train' of boys."
NBC News also found other apparent inconsistencies in a second sworn statement from another woman whose statement Avenatti provided to the Senate Judiciary Committee in a bid to bolster Swetnick's claims.
. . .
After NBC News received text messages from the woman refuting some of the claims in the declaration, NBC reached out again to Avenatti, who defended the declaration.
"I have no idea what you are talking about," he said in a text. "I have a signed declaration that states otherwise together with multiple audio recordings where she stated exactly what is in the declaration. There were also multiple witnesses to our discussions."
He sent a follow-up message moments later: "I just confirmed with her yet again that everything in the declaration is true and correct," Avenatti said. "She must have been confused by your question."
Roughly five minutes later, the woman sent a formally-worded text backing Avenatti. "Please understand that everything in the declaration is true and you should not contact me anymore regarding this issue," the text read.
But when reached by phone minutes later, the woman again insisted that she never saw Kavanaugh spike punch or act inappropriately toward women. She said she's "been consistent in what she's told Michael."
In a subsequent text on Oct. 5, she wrote, "I will definitely talk to you again and no longer Avenatti. I do not like that he twisted my words."
Avenatti has been plagued by disputes with current and former partners. In July 2011 one partner, John O'Malley, sued Avenatti and another partner, Michael Eagan, claiming the two had failed to pay him his portion of partnership fees after forcing him out of the firm. Avenatti and Eagan countered that O'Malley had mismanaged and lied to clients. O'Malley got $2.7 million in a settlement, according to the Los Angeles Times. Neither O'Malley nor Eagan responded to requests for comment. Avenatti declined to comment on the settlement details.
Five years later, Jason Frank, a former nonequity partner at Avenatti's firm, sued for nearly $15 million in back pay, according to court documents obtained by TIME. Frank also claimed that Avenatti, as managing partner, had failed to provide him with copies of the firm's tax returns and that it misstated its profits. In February 2017, a month before the arbitration trial was to start, a judicial panel found that the firm had maliciously and fraudulently concealed its revenue numbers.
In December 2017, Avenatti's firm reached a $10 million settlement with Frank, who agreed to receive less than half that if the first two installments were made on time. They weren't. On Oct. 22 a California judge ordered Avenatti, who had personally guaranteed the first two payments, to pay Frank $4.85 million. The same day, his firm was evicted from its office in a Newport Beach building for allegedly failing to pay rent for the past four months, according to court documents. Eagan Avenatti still owes Frank $10 million, according to Frank's attorney, Eric George. Avenatti claims Frank was a disgruntled former employee who had conspired to steal the firm's clients.
Okay, can confirm she really is from Estonia. Figured out her real last name as well.Who the fuck is Mareli Miniutti, and why can't I find anything about her in the Estonian interwebs while she is claimed to be from Estonia? Mareli sure sounds like it could be an Estonian name, but Miniutti definitely does not.
If Avenatti is guilty of abuse, then he deserves punishment.

Dude, I'm a lawyer and I actually sort of admired the guy prior to this fiasco.
Like how Obama can legally run for a third term and Chris Evans would make a great president?I don't have a degree in American law, but like any lawyer would tell you, I know the basics.
We got a lot of missing dog reports. Mostly because they believed their dog was stolen. Not saying I don't believe you, but I've never heard of reporting a missing dog to the police.
Since 2016, however, or the rise of the Alt-Right, fake news, and not to mention a similar plot involving a woman and a plot to tarnish Mueller when they dug through his life and found nothing illegal to defame him with just a week ago , you have to admit, Wohls Freudian slip of the tongue even when speaking to the hill, there's certainly something fishy, even why that actress nade their IG private when this was reported, I think you should see a bigger picture emerging.Just because it was posted when it was doesn't mean the actual pictures were taken at that time. Also, makeup. I had a woman come to the police department with her husband to report their dog missing. She looked completely fine, physically. Not a scratch could be seen. He's probably pleading for a deal tho.
