Dark Souls II - How much time between bonfire and first trophy death?

That was an ogre? Looks more like a Hippo Man.
I can't remember exactly, but I'm guessing I stepped away at some point. At most, I may have made it to Majula and stopped for a bit. I know I made it a few hours into Bloodborne without dying but I don't remember having that same "how have I not died yet" moment in DkS2.
Died to some BS on Last Giant's stomp. But I had played probably 500 hours of DS1 so I was equipped to make it a decent distance for it.
Within minutes on both PS3 and PS4. I don't remember what killed me on PS3 (Probalby the Cyclops thing) but on PS4 I remember I died from fall damage that probably shouldn't have happened. Oh well sucks to suck.

Skipped the Ogre from Betwixt but I died from poison damage from those poisonous hollows at that Shaded Woods gate ambush.
Fun fact: Because Majula is a poorly designed hub area, it took me an hour to find the entrance to Forest of the Fallen Giants in my first run. Thought Heide's Tower was the first area.

well,you hit the brick wall faster in SOTFS since you moved through the earlier section with more ease,so the way I see it it's an improvement
Don't remember when or what it was. Based off of the achievements I have it was before I beat The Last Giant and after I found the Covenant of the Meek.
I played DS2 on the 360 and I don't know or care to find out if that has timestamps.
On the PC I died for the first time about 19 minutes after creating my character, so either I died to the hippo or early in the forest.
For SotFS it looks like I died before even creating my character, guess I was screwing around a bunch in the starting area.

35 minutes for me. I don't remember what happened now, but going off the screenshot I ever fell or got knocked off the edge of something either in the cave before Majula, or the cave on the way down to Forest of the Giants.
On my most recent run (trying vanilla DkS2 after finishing SotFS earlier), I died 11 minutes before I got to the first bonfire, probably from getting cocky with the cyclops hippo.
Originally, with SotFS, it's funny... I didn't die getting to the first bonfire (June 3rd, 2017), but died when I picked the game back up almost a year later on March 7th, 2018. :) I must have gotten sidetracked, or wasn't really feeling it after finishing PtDE.
