Hmm, didn't know that, I stand corrected then. I was thinking about the DS3 and BB performance, which wasn't that great.
The gargoyles? I stopped there, just couldn't beat those dummies I think.
I envision lots of people going into the graveyard right at the start of the game and complaining about dying infinite times, I did :D

Usually, I tend to go to other consoles for this but Dark Souls on my Switch just sounds too good. If it runs at a solid 30 FPS I think I have to go with the Switch version. Fingers crossed.
The DLC is the best part of Dark Souls 1, so if you liked it on Xbox 360 in any capacity - YES!
What an ignorant post. Difficulty is the lesser thing that makes Dark Souls good. Level design, atmosphere, bosses... this is what people rave about it. DS1 stand between all Souls games thanks to it's incredible level design, not because git gut memes.
Need to see what Xbox One X brings to the remaster.

I'm curious about this, too. I'd expect some additions to make it worthwhile since we can already get great resolutions and framerates.
I imagine the online activity will be like the old days!
Depends if it's a full remake or a dark souls 2 SOTFS situation. If it's a port with extra content i can see it definetly being 60 FPS. If it's a full remake FROM SOFTWARE will probably target 30FPS like they do with all their other games.
If it's coming I imagine it will be by e3, it will be announced maybe sooner but who knows.
It is, mods should probably add it to the title (people will keep asking every page).

Are people saying that DS1 remaster on Switch will have no graphical additions whatsoever on Switch but the PS4 and PC versions will have DS3 graphics instead? Someone get their corrections in. DS3 isn't a consistent 60 fps game even on PSPRO.
We still don't know for sure. I doubt it's a full remake but Kotaku said DS3 lighting and higher res textures for the next gen versions.
Any confirmation yet? I only posted about Switch, because I didnt saw anything 100% official yet in regards of PS and XBOX
I'd expect 30fps with graphics that look superior to the PS3 version or just native 1080p docked and then hitches in Blighttown have gone away.
Good to have, but the way it was revealed was maybe the most interesting bit about it.

Oh man, I have only played Demon's Souls so this Dark Souls port can push me to get a bit early the Switch. So June eh.
Like I said in the other thread, I really hope that they improved the UI. The first Dark Souls' menus were bad.

I don't think so. The game has great atmosphere and the bosses look great at least but there are still lots of flaws with Dark Souls 1 which weren't really fixed in their sequels. Horrible controls with bland combat that gets reptetive, framerate issues, game breaking glitches which even if they will fix here the experience is nothing amazing.
yeah people started calling it when DS2/DS2 SOTFS and DS3 all had discounts and DS1 had no discount whatsoever in the last sale.
