Beautiful OT - really looking forward to this, replaying some of 2 to get hyped. I hope the combat is varied with the different forms, even if it is just the whip. Fury looks badass!

Gonna get this game reguardless. Don't expect perfect reviews, but I hated the direction of the new God of War, and this seems to be our last hope at a mid tier AA possibly moments of greatness AAA experience for these style of games. Hopefully it hasn't gone too Dark Souls and frame rates and bugs are ironed out with a patch. (Based on rumors from the other thread, but have hopes the Pro version turns out aces).

Hopefully we finally get to see all the horsemen for Darksiders 4!!!

Have had Darksiders III pre-ordered since August and im looking forward to playing the game in a few more days.

Any good story recap videos for the first two? It's been long enough that I've forgotten almost everything. I thought about just playing them again, but kinda just want to jump into this one on Tuesday.

Sounds like an excuse to me tbh given there's plenty of examples where the higher tier edition came with a early unlock.

There's also GOG but I guess they'll just ignore that.

Did they ever explain why she's called Fury? Since the last one is Strife (Conquest) she probably represents Famine then?

Some early negative buzz put me off for a bit, but fingers crossed that this turns out well. Won't be a day-one purchase, but will definitely pick it up if it reviews well.

They've just said that Famine didn't make much sense in terms of it translating into gameplay(just like the scales) and none of them are named except Death in the first place.

I guess you could argue that being in a Fury changes the value/meaning of things which is the only thing said about that one.

I remember the last two games being like zelda, is this one more or the same? I didnt even know this was coming out.

Been hearing good things about this from people I know playing it, and I like what I've seen from first impressions videos on YouTube. I'll be playing the PC version, but I hope the technical issues don't outweigh the fun for reviewers.

This is more of the same, but it's closer to the first game in size and scope. Also, it's apparently taken some cues from Dark Souls in that you fight fewer enemies, but they're tougher.

Any word on when the embargo lifts? Interested but definitely waiting for reviews on this one: I really enjoyed DS1, but DS2 was super disappointing IMO.

Hopefully it will be good and more like the first game. Loved Darksiders but Darksiders 2 really disappointed me.

Cheap? Efficient, but to get scale enough to cause impact on your D1, NOT cheap :)

So I bought and played both games so far... liked, but never got passed 8-10 hours. I'm attracted to the franchise but the games haven't really hooked me emotionally yet.

Hoping this one either has the story or the pacing to bring me home!

Can't wait, I always loved Darksiders universe. Hopefully, it does well for the series for other installments. While I enjoyed both previous I slightly preferred the first one and this one is nice being able to tackle the bosses in any orders, should be very fun.

Although I enjoyed making extremely OP build in Darksiders 2 it was not challenging enough.

Not "cheap" as in something I could afford, but "cheap" compared to a multi-million dollar Call of Duty-esque campaign.

Very nice OT. I'm pre ordered and should have it on Tuesday. I'm hoping this is good enough to satisfy everyone's expectations. Mine aren't super high and I'm expecting a bit of jank, that will hopefully be patched out quickly. Such is the THQ Nordic way.

Cannot wait to play this, so happy they brought Darksiders back from the dead to finish the series, been waiting a long time for another game.

Really hope it sells, so we get part 4 after this. Come on people if any game deserves the support it's this one.
