Main thing is this provides more information on the nature of the bad blood between Pitchford and Eddings and sheds light on the situation regarding how and when he was asked to reprise his role as Claptrap.

Edit: Eddings was the VP of Business Development at Gearbox from 2005 to 2017 and during that time voiced the character Claptrap in the Borderlands series.

Randy's money fuckery shenanigans are why I stopped buying Gearbox games a long time ago after he more or less stole money from TimeGate and Sega, leading to TimeGate's closure.

It's one of those not-so-secret secrets. I won't ever forgive the TimeGate shit, a lot of people lost their jobs specifically because of Randy.

I was assaulted last week by an acquaintance, didn't press charges for a host of reasons. You're usually asked on the spot if you want to or not and there are enough difficult dynamics at play which could lead someone to, say, not press charges against a superior at work or among the same social circle. As I understand it you can always follow up on your case if you decide you do want to press charges, but the point stands.

The logic makes it seem like you might've never been in that situation. Whether you have or not, it's not as simple as it seems.

My earliest memory of Randy Pitchford came in 2007 when I worked at GameStop and he was on GameStop TV talking about Aliens: Colonial Marines. He sounded like he was full of shit all the way back then, which turned out to be true when the game took six more years to come out after that and was terrible pretty much across the board.

So yeah, I imagine he has always been this way.
