Didn't even know it was out. Netflix is crazy with such big names and budgets and no advertising
Yeah it just came out today apparently. It was really good. Reminded me kinda how a suicide squad movie should've been lol
For me, personally, any comparison to Donner/Raimi style of superheroics is the highest compliment one can pay to these movies.
I know for many it seems Marvel in nature, but there's something about their style... that's a bit more sincere and genuine. And really think they understand the hero doesn't need to be the coolest person in your movie/their world.

And that's not a dig at the mcu. I enjoy their films but they have become a little formulaic lately at least in the joke department so it's a breath of fresh air to hear that DC is taking a Raimi/Donner approach.

I kind of expect Shazam to not be as front loaded as other CBM because of it's more family nature. But then again, I'm pulling theories and numbers out of my ass
Why would they even start going hard with marketing when captain marvel is dominating headlines. I bet next week they'll go into overdrive mode.
Hopefully it'll be in the upper 60s or 70s for opening weekend. Advertising just started going strong on TV these past few days.
Also hoping for some strong legs before Endgame.

I expect that number to go up from the mid 40s. I checked the showings at 3 theaters near for the previews. 1 theater has almost sold out both
Another is about half sold.A third is not selling well right now but that seeing as how this is a one day thing that was just announced and not heavily advertised.
I'm still very upset that they couldn't have Superman in the promo material for JL. What a goddamn waste.

Nah, Batman is June and SS2 is August. If this gets a 2021 release, it could fill in their November slot.
Oh nuts, my mind slipped and forgot those were 2021. WW and BOP are 2020,.
