It's a shame we didn't get the original San Francisco vision of the game. That would've been a dope setting for a zombie game
Well since this game was announced Techland who made the first Dead Island made Dying Light, multiple expansions to that game and Dying Light 2.
Dying Light is basically the spiritual successor of Dead Island.
Kind of crazy we've gotten 2 Dying Light games since Dead Island 2 was first announced.
Really not expecting much from this, nothing against Dambuster either, I quite liked Homefront: The Revolution, but we've just had so many zombie action-RPGS since the first Dead Island I can't see myself playing this.

I'll check it out if it's decent. Original Dead Island was pretty fun until it ran out of steam.

Was that the version of it set in San Francisco? I wanted to see that one so badly
its very funny that both dying light and dying light 2 which was also notoriously delayed forever both came out before dead island 2 which was announced in 2014

Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide are some of my favorite games of all time. Played them multiple times in co-op with friends and family. The bright colors and resort setting were a fantastic departure from what you usually see in zombie games. I wasn't a huge fan of what I'd seen from the earlier versions of the game, but hopefully the final Dead Island 2 that we get turns out pretty well.
The Goat Simulator 3 announcement trailer feels like too much of a coincidence here. Did someone at Coffee Stain hear word through the grapevine or something?
Despite the framerate issues on X1/PS4, Homefront: Revolution did look pretty good for it's time. I believe it.
Amazon the new Walmart Canada? Leaked this, New Tales From the Borderlands date and info, and Ghostbusters date.
This is like one of the few "will it ever come out" titles were have left. Crazy to think it might release early next year.
