Kinda sounds like they're punting it on the bookers to maybe avoid a performance ban? Because yeah their excuse of "We just don't know their politics" while it's pretty well accepted that Bolsonaro has a strong facist streak in him sounds real weak.

bolsonaro can't do that (at least for now). The only reason i can think of is to not irritate bolsonaro fans, they were very pissed complaining today, this statement only makes them happy.

AC/DC's most recent tour finished with Axl Rose on vocals. They still sounded...good enough.

It's ok to just like the music and not care about the politics/image.

ACDC are an entirely different kind of band. It's impossible to take the politics out of the Kennedys because their political ideals are an integral part of DK. It's like saying, it's ok to like Apocalypse Now and not care that it's a movie about war

Sublime only has one classic member. DKs have three out of four.

How you like them now depends on how integral you feel Jello was. Some say he was nearly the whole band. In my opinion, he was 30% - 40%.

If, in the beginning, they'd had a less edgy singer/lyricist, they probably wouldn't have been in the spotlight nearly as much, but the music would still have been reasonably kickin'.
