If I never played it how bad will I get my ass kicked? The only fighting game I ever reasonably good at was KI.

PS+ isn't required for this right? Not supporting subscriptions like PS+ but can fire up a 14 day trial if needed.

I was surprised when I saw this on the DOATEC twitter yesterday. I had no idea beta was coming. I'm looking forward to checking it out after I get out of work.

Well it looks better than in the videos. Loading times are still pretty long, and they need to smooth out a bit more the framerate though.
Time to have a match now :p

Seems to be the same kind of netcode as SC6, which is not great.
When it works, it works, but inputs seem slowed down otherwise.

The biggest issue is how like in SC6 and previous games, a 5 bar gauge doesn't mean it's necessarily a good connection though.

Online is pretty terrible, think the bar connection is broken no ways these are 5 bar connections.

Would have liked to at least have a practice mode. Lots of loading as well but the gameplay is smooth, feels really good and hits feel like they have impact.

Someone rage quit on me or dced leading which lead to me getting stuck in a infinite loading screen forcing me to restart the game.

Netcode looks the same as DoA5 with the game slowing down if the connection isn't consistent.

Sigh.
