If you have AMC Stubs it waives it. Also if you get Tuesday tickets it's even cheaper. I got Dolby Cinema for $6 Tuesday after it comes out.

For the record people looking for 7 PM Thursday showings in their premium format of choice and not seeing it, probably because it's tied into a double feature listed separately that starts at 4 PM.
